Woman Trying To Burn American Flag Arrested At Philly Pride Event

Notice, not really a woman:

A woman tried to light a flag on fire amid crowds that had assembled for Philadelphia’s Pride parade Sunday, police said.

Ryan Segin, 18, of Woodbine, N.J., was arrested around 12:10 p.m. at 12th and Locust Streets, authorities said. Photos taken by freelance photographer Bastiaan Slabbers showed the arrest.

Betrayal of one’s own is inherent to the r-selected psychology. It is probably driven by that hyper-triggerable amygdala that is so conditioned to ease that the most minor irritation can set it off. It is great if they move to a new culture, with new architecture, and art, and clothing, and food, and other cultural aspects that distract the amygdala. They will end up much less triggerable against their new hosts, while probably retaining all of their triggerability against their old fellow citizens.

It pre-integrates them into that society, imbuing the migrant with the native’s fondness for the new culture, as well as the native’s hostility to the migrant’s homeland.

So it is not surprising to see this among the most r of r-strategists – the gender confused homosexual. I would expect more of it as society turns K, and the LGBT community as a whole begins to feel the stresses of K-selection impinging on their ability to freely celebrate and partake of the bounty while the government enforces rules that mandate conflict avoidance.
