Why Liberals want Conservatives to Start Killing Each Other

I think something is happening in this nation, and I think it may be a part of an ancient evolutionary program. As resources grow scarce, K-selection will begin. In ancient times, this is where r-selected psychologies like Liberals traditionally would begin to die back, since they would lack the ability to engage in the aggressive battle for resources that the more K-selected Conservatives are designed for.

I maintain r’s may have evolved a strategy to buy time, by lowering the population level, since this is pretty much the only way to avoid being killed themselves, in outright K-selection. They do this by getting K’s to fight with each other, and avoiding the fight themselves, while socially maneuvering to be on good terms with both sides.

Maybe it is me, but lately it seems as if Liberals are getting a little more crazy than usual. Heartiste was just tweeting about screaming feminists, saying the pretty lies are screamed loudest before the whole edifice of lies collapses. This whole Assault Weapons thing is madness, with blatant lying by the media, screaming matches on Piers Morgan, and now a government perhaps force feeding a nation laws it doesn’t want, and the legislature wouldn’t pass. Just when you think Liberals can’t get any crazier, they try to offer some new freebie to some other group, or try to elevate a thug like Travon Martin to martyr status. It is getting crazy.

If you look around, you will notice that our environment is giving off signals of impending resource limitation. I see them, and I am sure you do as well. They are subtle, unpleasant images. Lots of cars broken down by the side of the highway on the morning commute. People everywhere in gradually increasing levels of debt. Talk of fiscal cliffs, and debt limits, and debt traps, and Japan, and currency inflation, and so on. Gas prices go up, food is ever more expensive every time you shop. Unemployment is only stagnant because every month, they claim even more people don’t want to work. Food stamp assistance is at record highs. Pink slips, strikes, plant closings, foreclosures, you get the idea.

Suppose we are programmed to pick up on these cues. Conservatives see them, and file away that a storm is coming, and focus on our work. In the Liberal however, a substantial level of anxiety begins to build. Suppose that anxiety is the first act in a behavioral Rube Goldberg that was selected for, over millions of years of evolution. What if the Liberal program is to try to quiet their amygdala by generating animus, anger, and hostility all over, in other people.

Make a Narcissist miserable, and they will turn around, and make sure everyone else is even more miserable than they are. Maybe the end result of the Rube Goldberg in ancient times was to generate such rancor in the population that fighting would have been inevitable somewhere, and it would start. Like the transvestite cuttlefish, the Liberal would then hide to avoid the carnage, and when they came out, after it was all over, the population had been culled back from all the killing.

I’m not saying this is adaptive today – clearly it is not. I’m only saying that in primitive times, as the population reached the carrying capacity of the environment, and all Liberals were about to be killed in competition for the limited foodstuffs available, a few, by chance, got filled with anxiety before the killing started. These anxious pre-Liberals pissed everyone off at each other, maybe socially out-grouped some people, and then they hid as people began killing each other. A few days/weeks/months later, the Liberal was wandering a freshly depopulated land, and had their free resource availability back. It would all arise rather organically, from small changes favoring an increased anxiety, and a drive to socially out-group.

It’s interesting, because the last time I felt this way was during Clinton’s first term, as the economy was stagnating in the first couple of years. We got an assault Weapons ban then too, the Branch Davidians were burned alive, a bunch of Rangers, Deltas, and SEALs were sent without armor into Somalia to die, Militias began to rise, blaming federal agents for the ills of government oppression hatched by Liberals, and Timothy McVeigh snapped, blowing up a federal building.

I just get the impression that those types of things wouldn’t happen domestically, under a George W Bush or Ronald Reagan, or during periods of high resource availability, like during the dot-com bubble.

Is it possible that what we are seeing is the beginning of a national unraveling, due to an ancient program within r’s, to make the environment more r-amenable? Might they want conflict between poor welfarites, and suburban middle class voters? Might they want angry Black Americans feeling as if White America wanted them all dead? Might Liberals want aggressive gun owners to shoot it out with federal agents who come to take weapons? From my perspective, if Obama sent the Medal of Honor winner below, to a gun owner’s house, and the two of them began shooting at each other, that would be a win-win for Obama, judging by his facial expression in that photo. I suspect most r-selected Liberals would agree.

Food for thought, as we begin to plan and navigate the dangerous path before us.
