Was Megyn Kelly Giving Oral Sex To Roger Ailes For A Fox Network Show?

So the big question on everyone’s mind is, how did Megyn Kelly get her own show?

The case against Roger Ailes took an even darker turn Tuesday when a report surfaced that Kelly told investigators Ailes made unwanted sexual advances toward her about 10 years ago, when she was a legal correspondent for Fox’s Washington bureau and a frequent guest on Bill O’Reilly’s nightly show, sources told New York magazine.

So did Megyn Kelly turn down Roger Ailes for oral sex, and still get her own FOX Network show, when he could have hired anyone to do that show?

It does raise an interesting possibility regarding women in politics. If you believe that Roger Ailes, going back to when he was a mid-level Republican operative, was creating technical recordings of women he propositioned for sex, and that women who demurred in the face of oral sex demands would go on a blacklist, then a natural outgrowth of that train of thought is to wonder whether women who slowly climbed the ladder in Republican politics, like Megyn Kelly, could have risen because they would be easily blackmailable. It is possible that such a situation is the case for a reason.

If Ailes was recording women like Megyn Kelly perform sex acts, and the lack of a recording would result in party-wide banishment, it would tend to speak to a broader effort than just Ailes trying to secure his own private network of blackmailable operatives. If lack of blackmailable material was sufficient to create a party-wide banishment, it might be more likely that some party bigwigs at the top of the hierarchy, perhaps with intelligence connections or backgrounds, would have been establishing the network, and using Ailles as a foot soldier to corrupt potential recruits by getting recordings of them performing sex acts.

Obviously if someone high up in politics is tied into government, finding cases of tax evasion among millionaires, or some other transgression to use to control them, would probably be no problem. If all of this were true, Ailes himself could actually have been demanding sexual favors due to being controlled by the network – and he might not be alone.

Women like Sarah Palin, who were thrust on the scene explosively, could have gotten there without being corrupted, but it would make you wonder about all the other female ground troops you see in the political mix. It would account for why so many women in Republican politics, in public, seem to be loyal to the establishment over principle, loyal to the establishment personalities over conservatism, and why so many seem to have a look to them that is different from the grassroots women who believe in the cause. It is not impossible that group was carefully selected for a specific psychology, and a specific willingness to let themselves be corrupted. Given all this, I’d treat every one of them as a potential security risk.
