Trump’s Master-Stroke On DACA

Here it is:

Leading activist groups backed by pro-open borders financier George Soros are demanding that congressional Democrats obstruct any measures that allow the administration to enforce existing immigration law, even if they come as part of a package granting amnesty to more than 800,000 “DREAMers.”

Soros-backed “resistance” group Indivisible is partnering with the National Immigration Law Center and United We Dream to increase pressure on all congressional Democrats, but especially House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi and Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer, whom the activists criticize for having a “cozy relationship with Trump.”

The activists are organizing phone call campaigns this week to pressure Democrats to reject any DACA legislation that includes funding for border security measures.

Trump is super compassionate. He made a deal to give citizenship to all the DACA people. They were in. But then Soros and his leftist buddies came in, and destroyed the deal. So no deal on DACA, and since it has ended, they all have to go home.

And BTW, we’ll fund the Wall later ourselves from Mexican remittances, and that’s how that thing was played.

I have no idea if this was really the plan, but there is certainly now a path that mixes totally maintaining all of his campaign promises, appearing to everyone as if he were the most compassionate man in the world, and on everyone’s side simultaneously, and demonizing the hard left as the enemy of everyone, including the illegals.

It is kind of amazing, really.

My faith in Trump is maintained. I didn’t pretend to know exactly what he was up to, but yet again I decided to wait and see. He’s the only politician I would ever give such deference to. He’s truly unique in modern times. I’ll keep the faith until he actually betrays us with actual results.

As has been said before, he’s either a natural at this who instinctively does the genius thing, or he’s a true genius who really does think several moves ahead of everyone else (and does so amazingly well). I’m inclined to believe the latter at this point. It’s just too consistent.

People who continue to react to the initial actions/words and dismiss the 4D chess metaphor, etc. will continue to be wrong in the end. Will it last forever? I don’t pretend to know that either. But I’ll take it for as long as it does. And may God protect him.

Wow, amazing that Soros and the Democrats want to do that to all those poor little Dreamers. I hope the activists never forget how cozy Schumer and Pelosi were getting with President Trump. And because Soros messed the deal up so much we have to use seized Cartel money for the Wall too. Would be a shame if the Cartels tried to get it back from Soros himself. A shame.

“It takes one to start a war, but two to make peace”…. I guess the same could be said of making a deal or political agreement – it takes both sides to allow it to occur.

I’m reminding of the Pelopenisian war between Athens and allies verses Sparta and allies. Several times in the 30 years of war, each side had an opportunity to end the war with a minor win. But then decided it wanted a crushing victory. So the side offering peace after a defeat was spurned and the war started again. – At the times peace was offered,it was at the request of the side who had just lost the battles.
Human nature is like that. We sense a victory and rather than take the partial loaf, we want the whole loaf, the bakery, the mill and farmland involved. I’m sure that somehow this can be linked back to our emotive responses.

Hello! Been linked over here a few times, so I thought I’d comment.

Trump is the Apex Alpha, which means he does have the dark triad traits. He just normally doesn’t need to use them. But, with DACA, you’ve got a minefield of problems. The instant DACA came up, notice that the protests & marchers just popped out? They’ve been prepared for that since the election.

Into this situation, the key aspect is to layout the players. You have the MAGA base, the GOPe, the Dems (with all of their factions), the business interests and then Trump’s interests.

In this situation, the purely Machiavellian play is the most optimal: turn DACA over to Congress, feel out the Dems for a deal to trade DACA for something far more valuable, get the base to crucify the GOPe since they’ve gotten nothing done.

Now, Trump got an earful from the Base. And by an “earful”, I mean the base lit up the Congressional Switchboard like it was Christmas & the 4th of July at once. But, who was the ones that set that off? The Dems + MSM. That actually wasn’t Trump. My read is that Trump never planned to have a public “deal” on DACA, which is why he took to Twitter the way he did. That was much more “Trump at rallies” approach. He was still staking out a position as the “kind grandfather” dealing with DACA “kids” that got put in a terrible situation.

Further to the Machiavellianism here, what was the base’s response to letting DACA people stay? “F*** that!” and assorted responses. The MAGA & GOP bases have been called racists, Hitler, Nazis and everything else evil & colorful for 2 years straight. Trump can play to the Middle while letting the base roast the GOPe over an open spit. This means the base can prevent DACA from happening, as the GOPe is going to get lit up in the Primaries as it is. What are Bannon, Gorka et al doing with those Pence aligned SuperPACs?

We have enough overview of Trump’s approach in Foreign Policy already that it’s clear everything is done at the Strategic level, thus the analysis of DACA needs to be taken at that level. Trump lost 8 hours of a media cycle because the Dems pulled a stunt (and how’s that going to help them deal with Trump going forward?), but it’s definitely lit a fire under a lot of MAGA. Trump is also going to a rally for Luther Strange, and he’s going to get 20 minutes of “Build the Wall!” from the crowd.

Trump’s analysis of most of the failures of previous Presidents is starting to become clear. They never had a proper feedback loop because the Swamp controls Congress. Thus, Trump has outside loops that keep a lot of balls in the air. (This is also one of the purposes the rallies serve, as well.)

Thus, Trump has set DACA into a decaying orbit and it’ll burn up over time. It was actually the only way to end DACA without brutal cost to other objectives. Thus, he waited until he had a way to do it. The GOPe and parts of the Dem base gave Trump a way to deliver on it.

the r/K + Scott Adams’ “master persuader” lenses works again.

I feel like that the r/K lens is like the sunglasses from John Carpenter’s film “They Live”

just wish I had r/K knowledge when I was 22.

I hope y’all are right, but I ain’t seein’ it. My money’s on Congress making DACA the law of the land. And opening the door to all the so-called “dreamers'” kith and kin, for a total of 10 million more foreigners at a minimum.

How many times does he have to do this before we trust him? I’m really willing to give Trump plenty of rope, even if he hangs himself with it, but the man keeps weaving hammocks and kicking back with a smirk.
Ignore all the haters as concern trolls, move on with MAGA.

Meanwhile the rabbits in Silicon Valley, whose existence has constantly relied on bathing in a surplus of resources, someone thinks that giving people free money in an experiment won’t produce exactly the same results as it does anytime you drown someone in resources and they aren’t already hard-K.

r/K is everywhere, and you don’t see people who were successful in real estate throwing away resources like that. 🙂

People keep hoping for 24D,4D,67D chess but I’m beginning to lose faith in that. I’ll believe it when I see it. He’s surrounded himself with NeoCons and Jews and let go of our allies. What does that tell you? He let go of Flynn who was DIA and had ALL the goods on where and what was hidden under the rocks. Former DIA he could have easily mustered up some muscle and firepower if need be and he may “really” need it to keep from being killed. Having Flynn there would at least “imply” to those in the know that he “could” bring that to bear. He’s fucked up a lot. He’s given away large amounts of ground. Letting them get away with a free ranging special prosecutor? Fuck me, he should have stopped that right away. If they impeached him certainly it would be better than having this prick dragging him through the mud for years. He could have got away with firing the traitor that hired him by merely pointing out that he was hiring his enemies. At the least he could have FORCED the SP to ONLY investigate the Russia, Russia link. I’m assuming he’s just wobbling about trying not to be blackmailed for whatever they have on him. I said and still think they have video of him with young girls. Not kids but underage, probably, models or the like. Right about the time Flynn left he got what I can only call a stricken look about him and he really calmed down. I’m guessing that;s when they forced him to get rid of Flynn. Flynn was dangerous to them. For him to prevail he’s going to have to do some nasty stuff. Maybe start dragging people off in the night because these guys running things are all in and they will never quit or back up. They can’t they’re too deep in. The problem is just who now can he trust? I don’t know. If I was in his shoes I would bring Flynn back as a something and damn the criticism. The stress has got to be off the charts to be in Trumps situation. I couldn’t do it.

If he’s playing 4D chess he’s given up a large amount of Men such that as the game goes on it becomes more and more difficult.
