Trump’s Fake Russia Report Is Designed To Provoke Conflict With Russia

Obama’s lack of a birth certificate was a conspiracy, but Trump hiring prostitutes to pee on a hotel bed that Obama slept on is newsworthy:

The chiefs of America’s intelligence agencies last week presented President Obama and President-elect Donald J. Trump with a summary of unsubstantiated reports that Russia had collected compromising and salacious personal information about Mr. Trump, two officials with knowledge of the briefing said.

The summary is based on memos generated by political operatives seeking to derail Mr. Trump’s candidacy. Details of the reports began circulating in the fall and were widely known among journalists and politicians in Washington.

The summary was presented as an annex to the intelligence agencies’ report on the Russian hacking of the election, the officials said. The material was not corroborated, and The New York Times has not been able to confirm the claims. But intelligence agencies considered it so potentially explosive that they decided Mr. Obama, Mr. Trump and congressional leaders needed to be told about it and that the agencies were actively investigating it.

Right at this very moment, we are being sold on this war by the media, politicians, intelligence agencies, as well as various other vested interests who benefit from imperial dominance abroad (unlike the vast majority of us who are severely harmed by it). When you understand that this is simply a huge sales pitch to herd the American public like sheep into a conflict that

Things are turning K, and the r-strategists in both the democrat and republican parties realize they need to focus that K-selected urge to out-group and destroy on some outside group of K-strategists. I suspect they chose Russia because they know if they can just gather up all of America’s K-strategists and send them into war with the Russians, their little K-selection problem at home will become markedly less than if they chose some lesser enemy like the Muslims.

I also suspect they have realized that they will not force Trump into war themselves through bullying, so they are hoping to create an external framework of perceptions in the nation, where every time Trump aligns with Russia they can say it is because he is compromised/bribed/corrupted, etc. Their hope is this will frighten Trump into being hostile to Russia to prove to the masses that he isn’t those things, and they can then cause that incident to spiral out of control.

Fortunately, only a rabbit is afraid of out-grouping.

But it signals the perilous times that are approaching. The rabbits do not just want to let a little spate of apocalypse trigger some random K-selection that might cull the rabbits. They intend to try and exploit it to clean out a goodly swath of K-strategists, and probably make a little profit in the interim.
