Trump Increases Conflict Stimuli

Notice the feel of this environment:

President Donald Trump continues to prove that he might be one of the most petty politicians in history. After making controversial comments about the NFL, POTUS recently rescinded the offer for Steph Curry and the NBA champion, Golden State Warriors to visit the White House after Curry said he didn’t want to go in a recent interview.

Going on one of his seemingly weekly Twitter tirades, Trump snapped, “Going to the White House is considered a great honor for a championship team.Stephen Curry is hesitating,therefore invitation is withdrawn!”

LeBron James quickly came to the defense of his fellow NBA All-Star tweeting, “U bum @StephenCurry30 already said he ain’t going! So therefore ain’t no invite. Going to White House was a great honor until you showed up!”

The Golden State organization released a statement in response to Trump’s Twitter fit: “We believe there is nothing more American than our citizens having the right to express themselves freely on matters important to them. We’re disappointed that we did not have an opportunity during this process to share our views or have open dialogue on issues impacting our communities that we felt would be important to raise,” the statement said. “In lieu of a visit to the White House, we have decided that we’ll constructively use our trip to the nation’s capital in February to celebrate equality, diversity and inclusion — the values that we embrace as an organization…”

Celebs from Chance The Rapper, Snoop Dogg, Ludacris, Talib Kweli and more have all hopped on social media to offer their thoughts on the situation.

I’m sure Jeb Bush and Mitt Romney can’t wait to make serious faces and talk about dignity and decorum, as they tell us how they would be r-selected and flee from conflict.

The conventional wisdom is this type of publicity would be bad for President Trump and Conservatives. But look at the feel of the environment in the article above. These are aggressive men, being aggressive and confrontational with each other in a hostile environment. Sure it is twitter, but in this pussified r-selected environment, this is aggression. I read the above account, and feel like this is a world where men knock heads without reservation. I can feel my own amygdala perk up, and go on alert. This is different. I want to get in on my guy’s side, and get a piece of something. “Fuck you! And you too!” These sports franchises have no idea the drive in Trumps’ supporters, or how they are now going to turn on the franchises. If sports fans, and especially football fans tend toward competitiveness and K, the hit these franchises are going to endure will be brutal. If ever there were a stock to short…

In the previous r-selected world, no President would ever engage in a conflict like this. It would not happen. They would do anything to curry favor with anyone who might tweet at them publicly. They would flee, capitulate, apologize, and grovel.

But there President Trump is gleefully swinging and weaving, and throwing elbows with abandon, as his opponents curse him and he laughs in their faces, as they rage all the more.

I will bet this type of exchange, of which I suspect there will be many more, will not cost President Trump any votes in people who abandon him. All of those rabbits already oppose him. I will bet it increases the number of people who see liberals as girly pansies (and who vote Republican as a consequence) by two or three percentage points. Although in the immediate time frame this looks like a loss, over time the shift to K it will produce will be a win for President Trump, for Republicans, and for the conservative movement. He is changing the entire ambiance, and that will change the population’s psychology.

You wouldn’t see this with any Cuck. I can only imagine how frustrated the Cucks must feel every time they see something like this, that they are sure marks the end of President Trump, only to see his approval rating skyrocket after it and conservatives come out winners. It is almost like everything they know is wrong.
