A 13-year-old suffering from gender dysphoria took her life in late May after her parents, Erin and Matt Georgia, allowed her to identify and present herself as a boy. Jane Marie Georgia was allowed to begin her “transition” in sixth grade, changing her name to “Jay Griffin.”
The parents found their daughter dead in her bedroom on Thursday, May 25. In the months leading up to her death, she had been placed on medications for anxiety and depression.
A 2016 study by the Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center said that the suicide attempt rate among transgender youth is 30 percent.
Jane’s mother Erin said, “Don’t get me wrong, I mourned the loss of a daughter,” referring to Jane’s so-called transition, “but then I realized that I’d been praying for a son my whole life. God answered that prayer, in just a different way.”
Georgia also said the family went to church together in search of a “safe space,” but that even “welcoming” churches did not meet the unexplained criteria of being safe. “As Jay was going through this journey, he would go to church with us. The church was welcoming, but there was no safe space,” she continued.
“Me and Jay would go to different churches to find places that were safe for us,” she said. “I say ‘us’ because I often feel like an outsider because I just love everybody, and that’s kind of hard in a Christian Bible Belt state.”
If you have one in three people afflicted with some condition trying suicide, I would consider that either the therapeutic modalities you are offering might not be working, or the condition should be considered some sort of pathology.
Notice that when these individuals are encountered, it seems nature programmed normal people to produce some degree of amygdala-stimulation in the afflicted, such as through shunning and ridicule. In our r-ified state, that seems cruel, but I can’t help but wonder if it might exercise the amygdala, and alter its function to reduce the pathology, even as it seemed painful. It could be we do that to optimize the fitness of our groups by improving the functionality of every individual in it.
When we create Marines and try to make their brains strong, we don’t take them into boot camp and coddle their every insecurity, and try to assuage their every worry and fear. A Drill Instructor engages in what would be deemed abuse if we applied it to a transgender. He ridicules, insults, and even terrorizes. And yet the Marines come out disciplined and capable, and go on to lead lives incredibly proud of the experience and happy in the world. It is unpleasant and “cruel” by rabbit standards, but the effects on the brain are undeniably beneficial.
Instead, as this article describes, people seek to find the transgenders “safe spaces” where there is absolutely no criticism or amygdala -activation. That is the exact opposite of boot camp, and it seems their brains only devolve further, into a spiral of depression and unhappiness, often ending in life feeling so awful they attempt suicide.
It is interesting to consider the brain may be anti-fragile, and need stresses and harshness, and nobody may need it more than those for whom those stresses are nearly unbearable. You can so0metimes kill with kindness.
Spread r/K Theory, because being kind can be being cruel under some circumstances

Most F2M transsexuals, and pretty much all M2F transsexuals, have suffered severe physical or sexual trauma as children or adolescents that was covered up, so they never received therapy for it. This is the textbook etiology for Cluster B personality disorders, one of which is borderline personality disorder/complex PTSD.
That’s what’s really going on here; these people are suffering from a condition where their amygdala has become hypersensitized to anything that might possibly be construed as a threat. It wasn’t nature that programmed them, it was having their sense of security, sexual and bodily integrity violently stripped away at a young age.
I think of this scene from Life of Brian when it comes to SJWs misrepresenting reality: https://youtu.be/9knToyK-wUs
Yep, this may be the epitome of this phenomenon in our softer society, where any criticism or adversity is being strongly discouraged, which will lead to our downfall. We’re well on our way.
And of course it’s been an insidious progression, where even many of those who a few years ago knew that coddling would produce bad results now can’t abide by the mildest criticism of others (or themselves). “Feels bad, man.”
And don’t be so sure about the Marines anymore. I don’t know how things stand today, but they’ve surely gotten softer in the military in recent times. I can only imagine (I don’t really want to know) how soft basic training has gotten now that the SJW mindset has crept in and they’re dealing with more and more women, and now transsexuals. Good grief.
The effects on the brain by soldiers who have been insulted, yelled at and punished are beneficial to whom? How many Navy brats and Army brats have been emotionally and physically damaged by the brain of soldiers who were treated like shit? Abuse spreads abuse. Discipline is not abuse.
