A woman had her family members walk her up the street from her home Saturday morning — past the crime scene tape and inquisitive reporters. Just away.

She said she just had to go somewhere else. There was a severed head just sitting on her neighbor’s porch. She didn’t know whose head it was, but she couldn’t stay either way.

Other neighbors gathered and dispersed intermittently, and none of them wanted their name or face in media reports of the incident.

“Someone’s sending a message,” one man said. “Why else do you do that?”

The head, Jackson Police Department spokesman Cmdr. Tyree Jones said, was that of a young black male who has not yet been identified.

According to Freepers on the ground, it is assumed to be Latin American gangs sending a message to local black gangs. What was more interesting is the number of places in the US where this is happening.

Although these weren’t beheadings, they were still an MS-13 bloodbath.

And lest this post come off as racist, it is worth noting, the Muslims are doing it too.

So why beheadings? From my readings there are two reasons for criminal beheadings (as opposed to mentally ill beheadings.) Beheadings are always related to amygdala angst. In some cases, it appears the individual has an amygdala that has entered such high gear it feels the drive to do something insane, and only the extreme shock of beheading is enough to satisfy that urge.

In other cases, such as the case of Mexican Cartels, it appears the beheadings are attempts to manipulate the amygdalae of observers. Cartels used to dissolve bodies in acid, such as the famous “Soupmaker.” It was nice and clean, and allowed them to fly under the radar under a government that seemed happy to look the other way so long as the people didn’t complain.

When the President of Mexico began to wage war on the cartels, beheadings came into vogue in Mexico, probably as an attempt to frighten the populace into not cooperating with authorities.

Today, it would appear only one beheading above was a Cartel hit, and it was from 2010. In the US, people are not as prone to fear the cartels, and they have less ability to hide and intimidate up here, so we have been spared the professional beheadings for now. But let us change the psychology of our populations by importing too many rabbits into our gene pool, and you can bet beheadings as a strategy could easily come into vogue up here, and we’ll see even more than we see now.
