The CIA Set Up A Task Force To Investigate Donald Trump

More on the Deep State Surveillance State’s machinations in the past election cycle:

A US counterintelligence task force was established by the CIA in 2016 to investigate possible Russian funding of President-elect Donald Trump’s presidential campaign, the BBC reported on Friday.

The task force included the FBI, the Treasury and Justice Departments, the CIA, the Office of the Director of National Intelligence, and the National Security Agency (NSA).

It was set up after the director of the CIA, John Brennan, received a recording of a conversation about money from the Kremlin going into Trump’s campaign coffers, the BBC’s Paul Wood reported. The recording was apparently passed to the CIA by the intelligence agency of one of the Baltic States.

Probably the leftist/Obama-friendly government in Ukraine did this at the behest of Obama, to open the door to surveillance.

It is really frightening. Supposedly foreign intelligence is not supposed to spy on American citizens, but today there are no rules. If the CIA were to follow the rules, this would have been handed off to FBI Counter Intelligence, and the CIA would have stayed out of it. But not today.

So to summarize, once Trump declared he was running for President, the surveillance we know about now was two fold. He had a CIA task force, including NSA, DNI, FBI, Treasury, and Justice officials and assets assigned to him, running a full intel/surveillance operation, just as if Trump was the tip of a foreign spear heading directly for the heart of our government.

Trump also had FBI counter intelligence assigned to his people, and they even went so far as to petition the FISA court for warrants to directly monitor four of Trump’s key aides in another operation previously reported. That is all just the stuff we know about, from official government agencies, in a sector which relies mostly on contractors and private sector companies to avoid generating official government records of their activities.

Think about that for a moment. Think about all the foreign entanglements of the Bush family, from the Saudis and papa Bush to the Chinese business partners of Neil. Do you think any Bush ever received any Deep State surveillance? Think about Bill Clinton and the Chinese contributions and all the technology transfers, or even the Clinton Foundation pay-for-play. What are the chances that the first honest outsider to run for the Presidency would actually be placed under this much surveillance innocently, even by just one intelligence agency, let alone this many, when all those others cruised through without even a second look?

There is an increasingly large fracture between the American K-populace, and the government’s intelligence apparati, and it is being driven by the leftist takeover of intelligence during Obama’s administration. At this Free Republic post, there are two longing references to Frank Church in the comments, and several calls to destroy the CIA. I can remember a time when the K-strategists at that site specifically, were absolutely scornful of Church following 9/11, and viewed any attack on intelligence as treasonous. Not any more. In the eyes of the conservative population, American intelligence is no longer Mike Spann at the tip of the spear giving his life for his nation, so much as John Brennan and Barack Obama puling all the strings to screw America from an air conditioned office.

It is a shame, but this is not all bad.

Either this schism is due to Trump’s brilliance, or it is the hand of God. Based on certain trends I see, my own belief is there will be a major scandal in the next decade or so, relating to the extent that the average US citizen is being directly monitored by US intelligence, as well as other things that have gone on. These things happen in waves, and we have long passed the threat/trough wave, where people wonder why we ever constrained intelligence, and we are well toward the overstepping-of-authority/crest, where the authority we gave intel is being pushed to the outer limits of propriety, word is getting out, people are horrified, and we begin to go all restrictive again.

If none of this had happened, and Trump were not at odds with the US intel apparatus as he is now, I am sure the left would have blamed all of that coming scandal directly on “Trump’s fascism,” and it is possible that it could have cost him the Presidency. But now, if the scandal broke, Trump is already at odds with the entire intelligence community in the eyes of the nation. Not only will none of it touch him, he can seamlessly transition, if need be, into a warrior of the people, already engaged in the battle the people will want fought. I cannot imagine a better place for Trump to place himself, or a more brilliant means of approaching that potential threat.

To me, it almost has that strange, mystical air that certain parts of the revolution had, where fate simply cast the dice in such a way as to favor the rebellion. Although I assume it is more likely Trump’s brilliant planning, already five steps ahead of where he needs to be and ready for anything, it would not surprise me to find out it is just God, giving Trump some armor to weather one more of the many storms that are coming.
