Terror Attacks In London – What Are The Luvvies Thinking?

Disenchanted Scholar asks:

Three terror attacks in one night in London, luvvies and other lefties have stopped signaling in defense pretty much, they know now their film premieres and festivals could get targeted. Could you do a post of why and what’s going on in their heads right now?

At this point the obvious concern is those three attacks are designed to divert Police resources from the charity concert’s security. Three attacks is a bit much, reeks of coordination, and begs the question why not hit the concert at multiple weak points with that force? If they have just diverted half or three quarters of the security for the concert to dealing with these attacks, they may have opened up an opportunity at the concert, which I assume they see as their crown jewel of targets. I suspect they will postpone the concert.

As for the luvvies, they are programmed robots, designed to side with force. Eric Hoffer wrote that the left would bite the hand that fed them, and lick the boot that kicked them, and he was right. In cases of Stockholm Syndrome, victims have actually sided with kidnappers who have violently tortured them, and turned on the Police officers who rescued them. Why? The Police are not a threat, the torturers were, and the only way a rabbit can deal with threat is to prostrate themselves and beg for mercy.

The luvvies are the same thing. So long as we K-strategists are likely to let an attack slide, and we are not pissed enough to act, the luvvies will attack us, and side with the terrorists. The more reasonable we are, and the more violent and unreasonable the attackers, the more the luvvies will signal by attacking us as a way of alleviating threat. But mark my words, the instant we decide we are going to draw blood until there is no more to draw, the luvvies will either side with us, or lead the charge. Their goal is to be on the winning side.

You saw this after 9/11. When America was genuinely pissed enough to kill anyone who sided with our enemies, the luvvies shut up. If President Bush had turned on the Muslims, the left would have kept their mouth shut, and the nation would have become violently anti-Muslim. Instead Bush did what any northeastern liberal cuck would have done by supporting Muslims, and as a result he eroded the right’s emotional advantage from the inside. In so doing he probably increased Muslim immigration over the ensuing years several thousand-fold what it would have been otherwise.

Leftists do not charge into danger. Their entire strategy of siding with the most violent is a way of avoiding conflict with the most likely to be violent, all to save themselves. The fact they are being quiet now is a sign they are beginning to detect that native Brits are getting to the point that they have had enough, and soon it may be the native Brits who are going to be violent. I expect in a few days they will take the temperature, and if the threat is low enough that they judge Brits will take a little more, they will go back to appealing to the Muslims as a way of trying to assuage their amygdalae’s stresses.

Of course as angry as Brits are now, it is nothing compared to what they will be like when the economic collapse hits. It is a very good sign, and you can see the obvious implications of this which will come into play when the Apocalypse hits. Then you can expect the left to lead the charge, at least vocally, against every out-group.

All of those rabbits are astonishingly cowardly.
