Sen. Ted Cruz accepted an invitation from President Barack Obama to travel aboard Air Force One on Tuesday to Dallas for an interfaith memorial honoring the victims of last week’s attack.
The news was reported by multiple reporters who spotted Cruz at Joint Base Andrews in Maryland where the president’s plane departs from.
Ted still does not understand that as the polarization continues, everything is a signal. Conservative amygdalae are on fire, and looking for relief. Every time he shows a liberal respect and tries to be bipartisan, our amygdalae fire up and whip us with cognitive irritation. Every time he kicks a liberal in the balls and humiliates them, we feel relief. In times like this you want to be the candidate who relieves K-amygdalae.
Obama killed those Police Officers by fostering all this false outrage over felons who fought with cops and got shot. Obama is fine with Police Officers getting shot, just to elect a few more democrats and continue his socialist revolution. He could not be more of an enemy of conservatives and freedom lovers everywhere. It makes things like this infuriating.
Had Cruz let it out that he told Obama’s staff he would rather fly coach, and then he actually flew coach and let the media know, that would have been the exact opposite signal – and conservatives would have loved him. Instead he handed Obama’s people this story, which Obama’s people undoubtedly leaked to the media so they would catch Cruz boarding the plane. This both, made Obama look bipartisan and statesman-like, and put another nail in the coffin of Ted’s future. For Obama’s people it was win-win.
You can’t vie to lead the conservative movement, unless you understand the power of imagery, and the need conservatives feel to see loyalty and fight in their leaders in these trying times.
It is sad Ted seems unable to make the jump to understanding the base and the political power of imagery better. Until he grasps that, his political future is going to be limited in this new K-selected world.

No more socialist revolution. Ted Cruz can go back to Canada and kiss the asses of the francophone foundation. Chris Christie will never be Trump’s VP because he once held hands with the Ayatollah Obama on the shores of New Jersey. Obama’s got five more months to wreak havoc before he sets fire to the White House and pisses on the Lincoln Memorial. Donald Trump will build a golden tower on Pennsylvania Avenue and fire every last stinking liberal form every job everywhere. Then the Party of No will become the Party of Fuck Yeah! and all the bakeries will be forbidden to bake cakes for gay people.
President Trump will make this country great again by disappearing everybody that’s not a WASP (unless they’re a hot Slovenian, at least not right away) and flooding the free market with expensive sports cars and bacon flavored mayonnaise. He will entrust Santa Claus to cure the sick and build a pipeline from Saudi Arabia to Albuquerque. And don’t forget the marvelous wall that he promised! That’s the first thing he’s going to do!
