Ted Cruz Continues to Do Good Work

Cruz recently was blackballed from the NY Times Bestseller list. His book, A Time for Truth: Reigniting the Promise of America, sold more than enough copies to make the list, but the Times refused to include it, without giving a reason.

Last week, U.S. Sen. Ted Cruz’s new book A Time for Truth sold more copies than all but two of the 20 books on the New York Times best-seller list. And yet, the Times refused to list Cruz’s book.

In an effort to deflect the widespread condemnation for their partisan blacklisting of the best-selling book, the New York Times made a specific—and false—attack on Cruz: that he had somehow engaged in “strategic bulk sales.”

In an unusual (and potentially risky) move for a major book publisher, HarperCollins explicitly called them out: “HarperCollins Publishers has investigated the sales pattern for Ted Cruz’s book ‘A Time for Truth’ and has found no evidence of bulk orders or sales through any retailer or organization.”

At that point, the Cruz campaign publicly called on the Times to either release their so-called “evidence” or issue a formal apology for impugning the integrity of Sen. Cruz and HarperCollins editor Adam Bellow.

Rather than do either, New York Times spokeswoman Eileen Murphy said the newspaper is “standing by” their previous falsehood regarding bulk purchases and offered a “no comment” when asked about producing evidence of the claim or issuing an apology to Sen. Cruz and HarperCollins editor Adam Bellow (NRO.com, 7/10/15).

Amazingly you can get self-published Evo-psych faster at Amazon than you can get Cruz’s major-house-published book, which sold out and presently has a two to three week wait.

In the book, Cruz pulls no punches in explaining how corrupt the process is, and especially how corrupt Majority Leader Mitch McConnell is. That battle is far from over, as Cruz is still fighting to keep McConnell from resurrecting a crony bank just this week.

Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas) is putting himself front and center in the fight over reauthorizing the Export-Import Bank, as the presidential hopeful looks to raise his profile in the crowded 2016 field.

Cruz, who has frequently worked with House conservatives and has been a thorn in the side of GOP leaders in the lower chamber, is holding a press conference on Wednesday to call on House and Senate GOP leaders not to tie Ex-Im’s reauthorization to a highway spending bill…

The bank, which helps finance U.S. companies’ projects in foreign markets, has come under fire from groups including Freedom Partners and Heritage Action, who say it doles out corporate welfare for favored companies.

I feel good about this election, even though I am not sure the nation can be saved, or even if it should be saved. Trump is running interference for everyone, absorbing all the flak, and firing up the populace, and in the background anti-establishment candidates appear poised to pick up the slack if Trump ends up taking too much damage along the way. If we can keep the Supreme Court in even moderately Conservative hands, we can maintain the Right to Keep and Bear Arms, and if we keep that, the post-collapse USA will be considerably easier to manage.

God has a plan, even if Apocalypse cometh.
