STDs Firing Up In California

Syphilis is taking off in Cali too:

They believe the only way to end an outbreak is to cure the infected and then find their sexual partners so they can also be treated.

But the leads Rocha gets on partners can be vague at best: He hangs out at a doughnut shop in the afternoon. He lives somewhere in a three-story apartment building across from a liquor store…

Yet syphilis rates have risen almost every year since the new millennium, picking up steam in the last few years. The number of infectious syphilis cases nationwide quadrupled in 15 years to 23,872 in 2015, according to data from the CDC.

The majority of new infections for years have been in men, particularly gay and bisexual men. This summer, the L.A.-based AIDS Healthcare Foundation erected billboards in the city as well as in Oakland, Dallas and Chicago warning of a “Syphilis Tsunami…”

Public health officials also say that gay men are using condoms less as fear of HIV has fallen. Some also speculate that hook-up apps have led to people having sex with more people because it’s easier to find new partners…

Part of the problem is that people won’t name their partners.

Rocha recalled one man who emailed an investigator a list of 100 names and phone numbers of people he’d slept with in the past year. But more often they’re hesitant or don’t know the names of people they’ve had sex with at bathhouses or met online.

“We’re happy if we just get one person,” Rocha said.

So gays have stopped using condoms, and can’t identify most of the hundreds of sex partners per day they are meeting through hook-up apps. You would think society would see a problem, but nobody is allowed to talk about it.

And judging by the fact female infection rates have increased almost five fold since 2011 while male rates only doubled, I will bet a lot of left-leaning male Californians are shifting from heterosexuality to bisexuality, and transmitting it to women faster.

We are still waiting on the supercharged Cuban HIV, which when combined with drug resistance holds the possibility of being the big one. But until then, the oldies and the goodies are feeling around the human machine, looking for weak spots, and ways to defeat present treatments.

Along these lines, here is a comment from the discussion of this at Free Republic:

I remember the incident in “One Million Dead” (by Jose Maria Gironella, on the Spanish Civil War) where the far-Left commander Buenaventura Durruti is leading a column of Anarchist troops to try to take the city of Zaragoza. The effort fails, partly just from anarchists-being-anarchists, and partly from the sexual disorder sweeping the ranks, with venereal diseases having a greater impact on the troops than even mortar injuries.

At one point Durruti separates out all the homosexuals and syphillis-and-gonorrhea-infected militiawomen from his forces, puts them in boxcars, takes them off on a railway siding, and mows them down with a machinegun.

Not my recommendation, by the way.

But it does show that the Spanish Left was even in the 1930’s a haven for disordered, promiscuous people (both hetero and homo) and even the Left found that sexual disorder (as in any kind of “sexual”) is incompatible with combat-readiness.

Actually, incompatible with civilization.

Notice, there was no loyalty, no recognition of his fellow rabbits as humans, no attempt to find a third way like sending them home. Like any leftist, you just fill the mass graves, even with women suffering from diseases.

The way you know r/K is the truth is how you don’t need to even think twice when you see things like that, even when it happened on the other side of the globe, in an era when everything would seem like it should have been different, among an entirely different people. r/K explains it all so well, you knew what happened, without even needing to look.

Everywhere you look these rules are there, beneath the surface, molding the events that guide our civilizations by molding the humans who are going to create our history. Go back to the Depression, head further to the Revolution, back to the Renaissance, on to Rome, all the way to the first time a cowardly human fled the fighting in his home territory, and landed in a new uninhabited land of free resources. Everything is the human rabbits and the human wolves playing off the very environment that molds them into what they are.

r/K is the force guiding humanity.

Spread r/K Theory, because you can know everything with one small idea

HPV was kind of a leading indicator here- it points to an ever increasing amount of high-risk sexual activity. HPV leads, then follows HSV, then Syphilis and finally AIDS or some MRSA variant. Demographically, its a nation slayer when coupled with imvasion, but you know which groups don’t have these problems? Amish, most Mormons, some Evangelicals, orthodox Jews. You will notice lifestyle trends shared in those groups. Part of the problem in the collapse is that sexual activity has become too normalized- and people won’t be able to afford condoms if they are available at all.

And as I said before, germs are dealing with r and K selection as well. The more people do things that spread disease, the more virulent the diseases become, with germs reproducing as fast as possible. When people try to slow the spread of the disease, suddenly the germs that keep their hosts alive longer faring better.

That is probably part of why AIDS got much less deadly after the 1980s, in addition to the drugs to treat it. With the most promiscuous gays dead, the remaining ones were not good incubators for fast-acting disease -moreover, the push for safer sex, less promiscuity, etc., allowed the most virulent forms of AIDS to mostly die out.
