Jerry Jones wants Goodell out, and he is bringing the K-stimuli:
The six owners who comprise the NFL’s Compensation Committee were stunned to hear what Jerry Jones said on a Nov. 2 conference call, when the committee was trying to iron out some final details of commissioner Roger Goodell’s contract extension.
According to a source with knowledge of the call, the Dallas Cowboys owner said he had “papers drawn up” in the event that the current proposed Goodell deal was finalized… Jones, it was clear from this call, wanted the committee to take the unprecedented step of sending the finalized deal back to the entire membership for possible adjustment or cancellation.
“Are you telling us you’re prepared to file litigation against us?” committee member John Mara of the Giants asked, according to the source. Jones, a former disciple of the late, contentious Raiders owner Al Davis, said he was, per the source.
Mara spoke. Committee member Art Rooney II of the Steelers spoke. The committee chairman, Arthur Blank of the Falcons, spoke, and said this, per another source who heard the call: “I’m shocked. I’m disappointed. We may have differences, Jerry, but this is not the way we resolve them. This is not the way we do things in the NFL.”
On Saturday, I had a conversation with a source who had spoken to two members of the committee since that Nov. 2 conference call, and I asked what the feelings of the Compensation Committee members were after they got off the call. “Shocked,” the source said. “Totally shocked. Emotional. Angry. In disbelief. This was an owner [Jones] who, earlier this year, voted in favor of authorizing the committee to do the deal with Roger. He was still in favor early in August.

NFL owners have reportedly brought up the idea of Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones forfeiting the franchise.
On Sunday, Mike Florio of Pro Football Talk cited a league source who said “multiple owners already have been discussing the possibility, which flows from Article VIII of the NFL’s Constitution and Bylaws.”
One of the sections of the article allows the commissioner to essentially force the forfeiture of a team if the owner “has been or is guilty of conduct detrimental to the welfare of the league or professional football” and a $500,000 fine is deemed “not adequate or sufficient.”
Florio granted such a move “would trigger years of litigation” and explained the notion of applying it to Jones specifically “comes from the belief among owners that Jones instigated Papa John’s CEO John Schnatter to disparage the NFL, blaming league leadership for ratings declines and, in turn, a reduction in Papa John’s revenues.”
Meanwhile Goodell wants the free resources to continue to flow:
NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell reportedly has requested nearly $50 million per year in addition to the lifetime use of a private jet amid contract negotiations with the league.
Goodell, whose proposed contract with the NFL currently is undergoing an approval process, asked the league’s compensation committee in August to raise his salary from $30 million to $49.5 million per year, ESPN reported Sunday.
Goodell also reportedly asked to use a private jet for life, and also requested lifetime health insurance for his family.

There is no better way to devolve an organization into acrimony, backstabbing, and failure than to let the ideology of inclusiveness get it’s foot in the door. It seems counterintuitive, until you factor in that humans are designed to do one thing – defeat each other. There’s only two ways that can happen – men join together loyally and have it out with similar men, or men stab their confederates in the back, erode their own group’s performance, and then ally with the enemy as it sails to victory.
If the NFL were a tribe, look at how the SJWs would have eroded its effectiveness, and destroyed its ability to function as a unit. All it is waiting on is a competing group to swoop in and take all its stuff. And all the while the SJWs have maintained their plausible deniability. “We are just trying to make things better!”
Goodell is overplaying his hand. Now is the time for the fans to double down in their efforts to target advertisers and hit the NFL bottom line. We can’t expect Jerry Jones to fight the battle entirely alone.
Still, the very fact there is a battle is a measure of how K things have turned. Back when the drumbeat for an Assault Weapons Ban was unavoidable, the media and the news we were given was firmly controlled by the left before the internet, and conservatives were defined by the mainstream media’s portrayal, the NFL would have simply claimed there were the majority, and that would have been it.
Times are changing all over the world, and throughout our cultures. This is the K-shift, and it is everywhere.
