Signs of K – Target Feels The Heat

As the nation turns, SJW status-signaling is beginning to turn into a “Kick-Me” sign:

A petition calling for a nationwide boycott of Target has broken 1 million signatures.

Organized by pro-family non-profit the American Family Association (AFA), the petition comes in response to an announcement last week from the retail giant in which the company stated it would allow “transgender team members and guests to use the restroom or fitting room facility that corresponds with their gender identity.”

“Inclusivity is a core belief at Target,” the post reads. “It’s something we celebrate. We stand for equality and equity, and strive to make our guests and team members feel accepted, respected and welcomed in our stores and workplaces every day.”

The short announcement concludes by asserting “[e]veryone deserves to feel like they belong.”

The statement has been met with much backlash from various organizations, including the AFA, which maintains that policies like the one implemented by Target are “exactly how sexual predators get access to their victims.”

This backlash is already having a financial effect:

Target’s stock price and its favorability among shoppers are crashing as the public rebukes the retail giant for ignoring their vigorous protest against mixed-sex changing rooms and bathrooms.

The company’s stock was two cents shy of $84 on August 19, when it revealed it would not allow shoppers to use single-sex bathrooms or changing rooms. Instead, all rooms were opened up to anyone claiming to be of either sex. As of 4.00 p.m. Friday, the stock had dropped almost $4.50, down to $79.50.

That’s a huge loss of 5 percent in stock value, costing shareholders roughly $2.5 billion in company value.

As that plays out, Texas prepares to go with the flow:

The North Carolina bathroom law battle over transgender rights and who can use which public restroom could be coming to Texas.

Recently, controversy surrounding the issue erupted in North Carolina, after lawmakers approved a bill that forces people to use the restroom that corresponds to their gender at birth.

On Tuesday, Lt. Governor Dan Patrick posted a petition on his website to “keep men out of women’s restrooms”.

Patrick blasted businesses like Target, who announced their new bathroom policy allowing transgender people to use bathrooms that don’t coincide with their birth gender. Patrick is asking for other Texans to join him in boycotting these businesses.

“This is not about equal rights, I am totally in favor of equal rights. I am not prejudice against anyone,” Patrick said in an interview with KXAS on Wednesday. “But I don’t want a man for any reason going into a woman’s bathroom or a womans locker room.”

Liberals are programmed to be terrified of the mob. As it becomes clearer that the silent majority is beginning to rise up, watch for the majority of liberals to melt away into the woodwork. The only ones who won’t melt away will be the ones who are going to go apoplectic publicly, because of full amygdala meltdowns.

Again, this is a sign of increasing resource shortage. When adding $1 trillion dollars of national debt per year now, it is as if every citizen is borrowing $3,000 dollars per year, every year. Add in car loans, student loans, credit card debt, mortgages, and other debt, and you have a massive amount of debt our citizenry is collectively holding. Each year they are working more and more just to cover the interest on their massive debt pile. No wonder consumer spending isn’t going up with salaries.

So with all that debt and consumer spending flat, we aren’t seeing a massive resource glut produced by that flood of debt. Rather, resource availability is merely being kept at roughly the same level. That means without that debt, we’d be seeing some level of resource restriction. Have no doubt – that debt will go away at some point as borrowers stop lending, for fear of not getting paid back.

The coming years will be the turning point, and no mainstream politician has the power to reverse our course. The big question is, has it gone so far, and is the corruption so deeply entrenched, that Trump will not be able to do anything about it.

If so, the K-attitudes we see today will be nothing compared to what will arise then.
