Sessions Vows To Target Leakers

As Trump has said, we’ll see:

We are here today to talk about the dramatic growth in the number of unauthorized disclosures of classified national security information in the past several months. This includes leaks to both the media and in some cases even unauthorized disclosures to our foreign adversaries. Referrals for investigations of classified leaks to the Department of Justice from our intelligence agencies have exploded. In the first six months of this Administration, DOJ has already received nearly as many criminal referrals involving unauthorized disclosures of classified information as we received in the last three years combined.

So, today, I have this message for the intelligence community: The Department of Justice is open for business…

Third, as I said, we tripled the number of active leak investigations. In response, the FBI has increased resources devoted to leak cases and created a new counterintelligence unit to manage these cases. Simultaneously, the Department is reviewing policies that impact leak investigations…

We will not allow rogue anonymous sources with security clearances to sell out our country any longer.

It is amazing. The President’s private conversations with foreign leaders are not only recorded and transcribed by intelligence operatives, and he is not only unmasked in them, but they are then circulated so widely that they can be leaked without any fear that the leaker will be discovered. So it isn’t as if one or two officers have access to them. They are on the main server, and everybody is looking at them.

Clearly the problem is Obama’s and Clinton’s leftist plants in the intelligence services. My guess is the broader establishment has also been targeting Donald for years, and he has been bucking the system, rather than selling out and currying favor. Notice that similarly, Carter Page has been under surveillance for years, despite the fact nobody knew who he was back in 2014:

That revelation, reported by CNN on Thursday, raises the possibility that Page, a Manhattan-based energy consultant, was under surveillance while he served on the Trump campaign.

It was reported in April that the FBI obtained a warrant under the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA) against Page in September. The New York Times reported at the time that U.S. officials obtained the warrant after determining that Page was no longer part of the Trump campaign. Investigators did not want to cross the line of investigating someone involved in a political campaign, an official told The Times.

Except for the fact they had been investigating him since long before, and probably were continuing right through the campaign, using his vague association as a basis. And if they were surveilling him, what about Lewandowski, Manafort, Bannon, and other bigger players who were destined for greater things? Think they weren’t under coverage?

Now Donald is in the Presidency, and the machine has no idea what his plans are, so they have to watch him very closely, using every asset at their disposal. My guess is this is why Donald kicked the Secret Service out of the floor below him in Trump Tower. One of the first goals of a surveillance op in an apartment complex is to gain access to a common wall or floor/ceiling with the target unit, for eavesdropping. Even though rank and file Secret Service guys are probably like Terminator robots when it comes to protecting the President, when the intel machine rolls up and tells them to jump they have to ask how high.

Unfortunately you can see how difficult it is to fight such a machine. When they hear every word, when their operatives may be among your close protection detail, and when every electronic means of communication is compromised, any action is nearly impossible.

It is not unlikely that as we sit, our nation is lost, and only the Apocalypse will save it.
