Sacramento To Pay $1.5 Million To Gangs For Not Shooting Anyone

Really stupid:

How bad has gun violence gotten in Sacramento, Calif.? City leaders now plan to pay gang members $1.5 million for a cease-fire…

Sacramento Mayor Darrell Steinberg requested that the vote be moved up in response to the park shooting, which left one person dead and four injured, Fox 40 reported. The vote was supposed to take place in two weeks…

The $1.5 million in cash stipends to gang members will come from the city’s general fund. A similar program is being used in Richmond, Calif., and Stockton is considering it.

So if I go down there and shoot someone, will they still get the money? If so, why won’t they just shoot someone, and claim it was somebody else that did it? Seems a system ripe for abuse.

As if resources will always be free, even while cop and firefighter pension trusts are under threat of running dry, and soldiers in the country are wandering around homeless.

Liberalism is a special kind of stupid.

Tell everyone about r/K Theory, because the cash will run out soon at this point

I’ll be happy to not shoot anybody for a lot less. Only $500k. Cheap.

What authorities should do is to pay people to shoot gangsters. 5K per head (confirmed kill). You’d have no more gang problems in 1 month. Hell, make it a special program where people from all around the world can participate. You’d see people from all around the world pouring in to hunt some gang scalps for fun and profit.

The US Army did the same when they payed off Muqtada as-Sadr for keeping it down in Sadr City.

It is always a temptation for a rich and lazy nation,
To puff and look important and to say: —
“Though we know we should defeat you, we have not the time to meet you.
We will therefore pay you cash to go away.”
