They think Anthrax, though it is unconfirmed:
Thirteen people have been taken to hospital in a remote part of Siberia after an anthrax outbreak linked to a frozen reindeer carcass…
Russian Ministry of Agriculture officials believe the anthrax emanates from the thawing out of the carcass of a frozen reindeer which died 75 years ago…
Tests in a Moscow lab have not yet confirmed the 13 patients’ illnesses were caused by anthrax…
He said the most likely cause was eating infected meat and added that symptoms included nausea, vomiting, diarrhoea and abdominal pain.
Yet another reason pandemic accompanies shortage. As food grows scarce, more and more people begin eating questionable food. Not only does it weaken them, but it also exposes them to pathogens. And if they are eating 75 year old roadkill, then obviously their peers are probably malnourished and immune-compromised as well.
In this case, Anthrax is not easily transmissible. However, as this occurs over and over, with numerous different pathogens, sooner or later you find an Ebola and it is off to the races.
ITZ coming, and the more I look at how the world seems to be feeling the pinch, and the world leaders are helpless to stop it, the more I think the Trump economic resurgence will merely stall the collapse until after the pandemic jumps into humans in a poor area overseas and begins spreading across the globe.

Maybe it was infected meat.
Maybe it was an accident at a Siberian biowarfare lab.
I’m starting to feel optimistic about Trump. If he is elected and starts stimulating people to act more K, maybe that will encourage people to get their act together and we will be more capable of weathering the coming crisis. You’re already seeing people come out of the woodwork inspired by Trump, like that guy running against Paul Ryan. Who knows, if enough of the right people start getting involved, maybe we can rebuild the strategic food reserve?
Another prominent symptom is a red glowing nose.
