EVI and Randy Quaid might be justified in some of their paranoia. They say they were among the victims of wiretapping private eye Anthony Pellicano and his inside man at the Los Angeles Police Department, Sgt. Mark Arneson.
Randy, 67, who was nominated for an Oscar and other awards for his serious dramatic roles, was best known as Cousin Eddie in the “National Lampoon’s Vacation” films before his career derailed about eight years ago.
The Quaids claimed to be victims of “Star Whackers,” a secret cabal that they say are responsible for the deaths of David Carradine and Heath Ledger. The couple said Britney Spears and Lindsay Lohan were also targets. Now, they say they’ve learned they were part of a recently settled class-action suit against the LAPD and Arneson, who was paid by Pellicano to provide confidential law enforcement records on hundreds of people. Both Pellicano and Arneson are in prison. The suit was first filed in 2006.
“Everything we’ve said about being bugged, hacked and tracked has been proven true,” Evi told me, from an undisclosed location.

Interesting for several reasons. From the fact that Randy and his brother Dennis have both voiced conservative views in the past, to how a search on the article title in Google returns nothing but the pressreader’s automated copy of the article (The article on the Post’s website is apparently deleted from google. How often do you see that?), to the fact that Rupert Murdoch allowed the story to be printed in the first place.
Is the tide turning and Rupert, a friend of the God Emperor, is on the side of the Awakening?
Randy is a good case, because it is pretty clear he and Evi are not going to be engaging in mass murder or terrorism any time soon, and yet they got the full Enemy Of The State treatment, to the point they ended up in another country seeking asylum. Now ask yourself, if those resources are out there, to waste them in that quantity on him, do you really think the 9/11 hijackers, one of whom took flight lessons while saying he didn’t ‘need to know how to take off or land, only how to steer the plane,’ slipped through that extensive net, and never had any examination?
Somebody knew, and let it happen, which opens the door to somebody actually being involved.
And judging from this, it is some type of private sector operation dodging Law Enforcement scrutiny, even as it controls select operatives in various agencies, at least sometimes through private sector proxies. Sounds kind of like what Q has been describing, even down to the fact you could not believe the size of this. I’ve aid it before, but Management, from the TV show Burn Notice, is real, it is just a lot bigger and more extensively funded than it looked in that show.
Randy has reported extensive in-person follows, and technical monitoring as well, along with organizational interference in his financial and legal affairs, presumably through placed operatives at banks and in the legal system. He believed this was intended to culminate in some sort of physical attack to take him and his wife out – something he feels had happened to numerous stars before him.
You tend to take these grandiose stories he has been telling with a grain of salt, and yet Quaid was sharp enough to spot professional surveillance, recognize the subtle signs of being a target, and escape and survive to fight another day in the face of that machine. If he is right, then this is clearly Cabal, and probably exposes one resource stream which funds the fun and games we see on the evening news in relation to political activities.
This reveals that at least the backgrounds were being run through a shady PI accessing local LE databases through an alternate, illegal channel. That is interesting, because it is an incredible vulnerability to exposure of the operation.
If this was in any way federal government, they would have had all that intel easily accessible, and they would never have taken the risk of hiring a rube like Pelicano who eventually ended up arrested and vulnerable to prosecutorial deals. Nor would they want outside, non-sworn entities having any insight into what they were up to. Law Enforcement sensitive information is not supposed to drift outside of their sworn law enforcement family. Pelicano was hired for this because somebody running the operation was covering their ass, and needed a firewall between themselves and what they were doing – and they feared the idea of regular Federal Law Enforcement agents having any ability to gain an awareness of what they were up to.
This doesn’t resolve much, but it does confirm something I have long suspected, namely that whatever is going on is not endemic to the Federal government or Law Enforcement, but rather is some sort of (very large) private sector conspiracy existing outside of it, and exploiting a select few government agents to create the appearance of full governmental authority.
It also points to the fact that inevitably, facts leak, and details accumulate, and it all heads in one direction. Now it appears the Quaids are looking at opening their own investigation and lawsuit, to pull at the threads that were exposed by this last lawsuit. Whoever in the Cabal it was who thought this was a good idea should not be involved in planning anything else going forward.
It all points to the fact that at some point, true freedom will return to the nation.
