New Orleans is poised to make a sweeping break with its Confederate past as city leaders decide whether to remove prominent monuments from some of its busiest streets.
With support from Mayor Mitch Landrieu, a majority on the City Council appears ready to take down four monuments, including a towering statue of Confederate Gen. Robert E. Lee. Their ordinance has sparked passionate responses for and against these symbols, and both sides will get one more say at a special council meeting before Thursday’s vote.
They are going to do it, because in r-selection it is just easier to avoid conflict. When a shrill neurotic, screaming at the top of their lungs meets a sane person, the sane person, absent their own amygdala stimulation, will just pacify them and move on in their life. Again, this erasure behavior is leftist amygdalae that are so conditioned to ease that anything will set them off, and it will show up anywhere the r-strategy thrives. The problem is that the way to get peace from leftists is to condition these amygdalae to harshness, not hyper-condition them to even more ease by removing anything which irritates them. That will only make things worse.
They got rid of the Confederate flag, and now the rabbit harpies are fixated on the statues. Get rid of the statues, and next it will be getting rid of the references in current history books, and burning the old books. One day it will be southern accents, country music, beer, pickups, and rednecks. Then they will start on the American flag.
These things leftist hate need to be protected from erasure, and even promoted, because we need to trigger leftists more to maintain or increase their amygdala tolerance. Perhaps that might be the biggest argument for a President Trump – the nation needs a little reality forced on it to warm us up for the Apocalypse, and there is no bigger, badder, more brazen dose of reality than the Trumpinator.

OT: Experiments with magnetic waves show that disabling certain areas of the brain has a rabbitizing effect:

Don’t know much about the brain but there’s clearly a co-dependance between the “posterior medial frontal cortex” and the amygdala.
