Prince was suffering from AIDS before being found dead last week and had refused treatment because he believed he could be cured by prayer, it has been claimed…
A source, who was not identified by the Enquirer, said: ‘Doctors told Prince his blood count was unusually low and that his body temperature had dropped dangerously below the normal 98.6 degrees to 94 degrees.
‘He was totally iron-deficient, very weak and often disoriented. He rarely ate and when he did, it all came right back up.
‘His face was yellowish, the skin on his neck was hanging off and the tips of fingers were a brownish-yellow.’
According to the magazine Prince was diagnosed with HIV back in the 1990s, but that developed into AIDS toward the end of last year.
Makes me wonder why it progressed. Did the drug cocktail fail, and if so why? Was his adherence poor, did the virus adapt, or did he contract a new strain somewhere?
Between the poor adherence to the regimen seen in many cases in the gay community, and the new fast moving HIV in Cuba we are now ready to import due to the lifting of travel restrictions, it is looking like HIV may become a killer once again.
[…] Prince Had AIDS? […]
This was leaked several days before Prince had to make the now famous Emergency Room visit 3 days prior to his death. The website for it was blindgossip.com. It was reported on other similar websites as well.
From what was leaked before his death he had been taking the anti-virals ever since he was diagnosed with HIV back in the 1990s, however, he stopped taking them around two years ago due to religious reasons. He converted to Jehovah’s Witness back in the late 1990s after he discovered he was HIV positive.
Had he not ceased taking the HIV medications he most likely would have been alive and kicking today as he had been for the last 20 years or so.
What his death demonstrates is that the wages of living an r-selected lifestyle is an early death.
In any case, he was a very talented musician and songwriter. He will be missed…
AIDS doesn’t make sense with Prince. Heavy opiate use does. It would have given the symptoms described, and it would explain the overdose on Percocet. Routing opiate users don’t overdose on things with known strengths. However, he would have been dosing himself based on his tolerance to opiates on the narcotic side of the percocet — while being oblivious to the tylenol side of the Percocet. So, it is very likely that he actually overdosed on the tylenol, because he was reportedly a Demerol and and fentanyl user.
Also, the save shot would have flushed his baseline opiate level out of his system, so as a long term addict, the first thing he would have done would have been to go back home, and load back up on demerol and fentanyl.
Wow! I was at work when I heard on the radio that Prince died. My first thought… I said to my coworker “did he die of aids?”
Sometimes I feel like I’m psychic
