Victor Avila was a special agent with US Immigration and Customs Enforcement or ICE in Mexico. On February 15, 2011, he and fellow ICE Agent Jaime Zapata got an unusual assignment: a task that required them to travel an infamous Mexican highway to pick up equipment…
Victor Avila: Correct. The U.S. Ambassador to the Regional Security Office of the U.S. Embassy had issued a notice of alert, prohibiting all U.S. personnel to drive on Highway 57 northbound, specifically to Monterrey.
Sharyl Attkisson: Because the cartels control that highway.
Victor Avila: Correct….
Not only that, they were sent on the forbidden road without the normal armed escort vehicle. So they were all alone, on the way back with Agent Zapata driving, when two SUVs approached and forced them off the highway. Zetas cartel members surrounded them, shoved the barrels of a handgun and an AK47 rifle into their slightly cracked-open window and opened fire.
Victor Avila: During the shooting I saw Jaime get hit. He said: I’m hit, I’m shot… I was shot during that time, I didn’t realize…
911 Call: This is Victor Avila from ICE. We are shot! We are shot! We are on the highway…
Victor Avila: We want answers from the assignment, why the ICE supervisors and the U.S. Embassy ignored the alert from the U.S. Ambassador. Why they put us on this road without any operational plan, without an escort. What specifically did the government know and evade and cover-up about the transmission of those weapons to Mexico?
When Avila got stonewalled, Congress demanded the Inspector General investigate and Avila filed a civil suit against the government. Meantime, he returned to work but says he was marginalized, repeatedly transferred against his wishes, and eventually felt forced to retire.
Victor Avila: I never, never imagined that the treatment would be what, what it is. I never expected and I never felt entitled to any special treatment after being shot. All I wanted was to continue with my life and possibly my career. But my career ended that day.
One of the more beautiful moments is when a Police Officer who was shot in the line of duty is released from the hospital, and hundreds of his fellow officers are waiting outside to cheer him, and you know his department is going to go out of its way to treat him right.
Sadly, this looks like Holder and his cronies may actually have sent these poor bastards into a meat grinder with the hopes that after they were killed, with the very US guns Holder had funneled to Mexico himself, it would produce an overwhelming support for banning gun sales in the US. Then, after one of them miraculously survived, he ended up shunned out of his job because his survival, and his asking questions on behalf of his ex-partner, was inconvenient. Just awful.
One thing you know is President Trump would be on this guy’s side. You know he would love to unravel the entire thing. Yet even he cannot pick up the phone and make a simple document release happen.
There is a whole other government operating down there in DC. Nobody elected it, nobody even knows who runs it anymore, and its leadership is entirely loyal to its own survival and protection. When it all comes down and everything hidden is revealed, I have a feeling that nobody in the US will ever trust anything they are told, ever again.
Only the Apocalypse can save us, and the nation we were brought up to love.
That’s why they want the guns. They’ve wargamed it. They lose without a ban and they know it.
“They” have Predator Drones and Thermobaric Warheads, they will make minced meat out of your overweight Militia Buddies in no time.
Right. Just like “they’ve” made mincemeat out of the ragheads in Afghanistan. “They” might have superior weapons, but “they” have no chance in a 4G war. I suggest you read: http://westernrifleshooters.blogspot.com/2008/07/vanderboegh-handgun-against-army-ten.html
You need boots on the ground to cull insurgencies. Drones and shelling isn’t enough.
I’m not overweight, I’m just big boned.
Oh really. Then why are we still in Afghanistan? Americans have much more sophisticated equipment than these people and they aren’t defeated. What does a predator have that’s so special? The only real advance is thermal video. Thermal cameras can be defeated with one of those two dollar thermal aluminiumized blankets with two regular blankets sandwiching it. True they could stand back and bomb but will they do that? If they do so will the peoples families doing the bombing be safe? Let’s say they invade to control a community with APC’s. You have to get out of them to actually control the area. You think people can stay in APC’s when they are covered in burning gasoline? All it takes to make napalm is gas and dish soap. They going to ban gasoline and dish soap? How many people do you think make potato guns and all other kinds of air guns that throw stuff and how long do you think it will be before they start throwing napalm? How long before the local National Guard armories are empty of anti-tank weapons and machine guns?
There’s more registered hunters in just Pennsylvania that there are all the US military combined. Exactly how many in the US military do you think will burn the whole damn country to the ground and then kill all the survivors if the government says to do so? I bet it would be enough to dishearten a lot of people but I bet it wouldn’t be enough. There’s too much ground to cover. If they can’t stop drugs or anything else then how are they going to stop a armed rebellion?
Would the troops of “they” ever expect to go off-base and mix with the general population off-duty?
What about “their” families?
Where would the troops of “they” get food supplies, and how exhaustively could “they” check that food for safety?
I think you see where I’m goin’ with this.
This.
I read Narco News Blogs since years and i can’t see, by all my strategical education, an end to the Mexican Conflict. This shit show is the perfect chaos. And you can’t send US Troops down there nowadays since the whole operation would degenerate into some drug fueled Colonel Kurtz Nightmare. Maybee sending weapons in there and let them thin each other out is the least worst option.

This happened in the past – how does this add up to Trump not being in control?
Justice under Holder released thousands of weapons into Mexico, and here it looks like they sent two agents into certain death so they could use the murders politically. Now the lawsuit is underway. If Trump was in control, he could have the documents released to reveal the illegality, hang Holder and company out to dry, and get this agent some compensation for what they did to him, but it isn’t happening. It isn’t happening, because Trump only has limited powers, mostly over the stuff which really doesn’t matter.
As I mentioned earlier the Vegas thing is a for sure cover up that say…a couple hours searching could prove and Trumps FBI appears to be in on it. They have something on Trump. There was a girl who said she was raped by Trump when she was 13. Filed suit before the elections then dropped it. It didn’t get a lot of press like you would think. Maybe because they wanted that in the hole in case they needed it. I think he could ruthlessly go after the people going after him. Round up all their kiddy diddlers and possibly even start dragging some of his enemies off in the night. Of course that opens a whole can of worms so that’s probably why he hasn’t done it. I think it likely that violent attacks on those that are doing this kind of unlawful actions might be the only way to stop them. There’s actually not so many of them at the top doing this. Most of the people at the lower level are just following orders and would never do this stuff on their own. Our country is really screwed up. I wonder how long before the average person realizes it? At that point it will get really scary. The PTB will either escalate to great violence or they will have to back off. It will be unpleasant.
The cathedral or deep state wasted no time bitch slapping Trump. Executive orders regarding who is allowed in the country were quickly overturned even though they were clearly constitutional. Military action in Syria, Nigeria, etc., while clearly unconstitutional, proceeded. Our rulers get what they wish for. Trump’s heart is in the right place. Every once in a while some atrocity allows him to use the bully pulpit. This may be all we can hope for at present.
