This is also a mark of approaching K-selection:
Polish legislators debated a citizen-led bill this week that would ban almost all abortions and protect unborn babies’ right to life. And in an initial vote on the measure has been approved.
The strong Catholic country already prohibits most abortions. Unlike most of Europe, abortions are legal in Poland in only cases of rape and incest, the life or health of the mother or severe fetal deformities – though “severe” is widely defined and unborn babies with Down syndrome and other disabilities have been legally aborted.
The new citizen-led bill, which has wide support from the public, top government officials and the Catholic Church, would prohibit abortions except when the mother’s life is in jeopardy. It would criminalize abortion for causing the “death of a conceived child.” Doctors who do abortions could face jail time of up to five years.
Set aside the actual debate over pros and cons regarding the issue of abortion for a moment, and merely look at the decisions the populace makes. As things head r, babies are viewed as disposable – to the point some of Obama’s compatriots have even postulated that you should be legally allowed to abort babies up to two years old, post-birth, since until that time they are not really conscious in the sense that we, as adults, are. Imagine taking a toddler in to a doctor, and telling the doctor that you had decided to abort it after all. Then you have the doctor give it a shot to put it to sleep, right there in his office. They actually have argued for that.
As K takes ever stronger hold, it produces people who are programmed to view babies as supremely important, to the point they cannot be harmed at all, even in their earliest developmental stages, when they may not even have any real characteristics of a human being.
One is programmed to eject offspring from the nest. In their most extreme form they will, if allowed, eject them from the womb, even if they have to kill them to do so. And they will assert that such is their right. The other side is so programmed to protect offspring that they will even protect the offspring of others, and they will do it before the offspring are even born, and even before they look like offspring.
This demarcation will also separate those who are aggressive and competitive and carry a view that not everyone will have enough to be happy, from those who are averse to all competition and assert that there are plenty of resources for everyone to be as happy as they want. Promiscuity, marriage, protectiveness of children, in-group loyalty, patriotism, fitness in competition, and rearing urges will all also split along r/K lines, right alongside abortion. You can even separate them based on whether they prefer the smell of babies or coffee. It is that hard wired in the brain.
Where the debate over this issue occurs, notice how in the end, what controls the outcome is not logic, reason, or argument. Limit resources and develop amygdalae, and you get one result. Flood a nation with resources, hedonism, and ease, and you will get the other.
The funny thing is if the left had called attention to r/K early on and tried to socially out-group it, they might have been able to pull it off, and then claim it debunked. But by waiting until now, they have almost guaranteed it’s ultimate acceptance because everywhere you look, you see every facet of r/K unfolding around us as the collapse approaches.
This is the new political science.
[…] Poland Bans Abortion […]
AnonCon, the time has come for you to spread r/K theory far and wide.
It shouldn’t be impossible. After all, Hillary Clinton is addressing a cartoon frog on her web site.
How will you wield meme magic to make r/K appear in the national consciousness?
Personally, I’m not 100% sold on r/K. But, the more attention it gets, the more we can actually discern whether it’s true or not. As it is now, it’s passed around in the same waters. Theories need fresh air and lots of exposure to really grow and develop.
I agree. It should go faster, but I am not yet sure how to get it to spread faster than it is doing now. This is me spreading it as fast as I can, with the help of generous readers here.
One constraint is that Liberal amygdalae literally can’t contemplate the idea due to amygdala pain, let alone discuss it, so it is only able to spread, and create controversy, on the right side of the equation. Unfortunately, it really doesn’t create much controversy there as everybody either adopts it, or views it as maybe plausible. My guess is you will never have a fight with someone on the right about it, so the amygdala significance of it is solely limited to it’s novelty on the right. Since it can never generate controversy on the left because they won’t discuss it under any circumstances, due to it being too amygdala-stimulating, it is kind of shut out of the type of fighting and drama that grabs attention.
Pepe was funny, and carried no amygdala significance beyond being an icon, so liberals could think about it as a hated item, discuss it, argue about it, and call other’s attention to it to enjoy some group hate on it. r/K cannot even be hated, because it would have to be thought about. It is very limiting when every time it hits a liberal, they shut up and run away, and never mention it again, even to hate on it. On the other hand, when it is the first thing taught in PolySci 101, and it comes up in every political discussion as an epithet, it will have a great effect on liberal willingness to debate.
Another constraint is that I suspect there is a little google blacklisting going on as search traffic used to be very high on politics, liberal, conservatism, ideology, etc, yet one day all that traffic dried up overnight.
Facebook already banned my ads, and locked my ad account as hate speech, as did Yahoo. I just went to Amazon and sent in a formal proposal for the adspace under the book descriptions, but they are not responding to the proposal, so I assume that is a no-go. But ads are expensive, especially when they work well. So there is no way I can afford $10,000 for a small block ad in the NRA magazine, or $5,000 for a place in a state gun association newsletter. Obviously Rush would be out of the question. I spent $1000 at a famous conservative website, and got about 100 clicks, and not even all of them were people, which obviously wasn’t cost effective. Which only leaves google and bing as options, though I am positive at least a small portion of the clicks they send (and charge for) are robots of some sort or other.
Regardless, between paid ads and word of mouth, this site should multiply its current traffic about four times in the next six months if history is any guide, which is good growth, and it is growth of spreaders who spread the idea online and to friends and family. So r/K itself, outside of the blog, is spreading even faster than the blog traffic. Thanksgiving alone, every year, produces massive spikes as people go home and tell family, and the family then searches out this site.
If anybody has any ideas, feel free to shoot them to me, but for now, I’m kind of just focusing on blog traffic and reinforcing the ideas here, so when it goes viral, there is a lot of anecdotal material, showing where r/K is visible around the world. Hopefully as people tell friends and family about it, it will eventually go global all on its own.
Until then, it will be a slog.
Yeah, getting lefties to think about this is just like getting them to engage with evo psych, HBD, race realism and other similar topics. They just won’t do it. They shut down at the first hint and proceed to the hysterical shrieking and ad hominem attacks.
r/K will catch fire in an organic way. Spending money on ads is wasted. The viral effect will take hold at some point, as the truth of it is illustrated by current events.
Are you active on Twitter?
Have you reached out to Cernovich and other top level alt righters? Molyneux is already awared of r/K.
How about Youtube? Put together an informative video.
And finally, consider piggybacking on existing memes. Maybe Pepe should have a K goldchain or something. r/K has been mentioned on /pol/ a few times so it’s just a matter of making it more sticky.
I do need to get on Twitter, I’m just pressed for time lately.
All the rest are great ideas, thank you.
When the time is right, it will expand almost under it’s own steam. You will see doors open to it you could have never imagined. But only when it’s moment has arrived, and not before.
I agree fully. It is why I am so zen about all of this.
Hi again AC
just wondered if you can you put a link with thumbnail to Stefan Molyneux – “Truth about Gene Wars: r/K selection theory” right here on your page?
For those that “..don’t like reading”!
I think he’s done you proud with that series.

Good thinking. Let me do that.
Thanks!
How about this?

Many regulars of the boards here already know about r/K, but the site is chock full of lurkers according to the statistics from the official transparency report.
