It is, as many things are today, somewhat ominous. You would think that for this to happen, and Reddit to sacrifice what must have been a traffic avalanche, this would come down from some government agency threatening them. If that is the case, then behind the scenes there will be an awful lot of resources and specialties lining up against the researchers digging this out, and I am not at all sure where a line will be drawn on what is permissible, if one will even exist.
The rabbit hole is deeper than I would have thought, and I am paranoid as hell.
