Vault-Co is downright prescient. I would bet everything that we will see more of these and end up in a severely colder climate in the next fifteen years. I am almost certain there is something linking that type of climate change with economic downturn, but can’t imagine what it could be.
Regardless, it will be interesting to see how the rabbits up north and their welfare-requiring pets navigate an environment where everyone is totally broke, heating oil is ridiculously expensive, and nobody can get it shipped anywhere due to hijackings.
No wonder the rabbits are more concerned with microaggressions and transgendered bathrooms.

“I am almost certain there is something linking that type of climate change with economic downturn, but can’t imagine what it could be.”
How about a Divine warning to an increasingly evil world?
It does seem to fit.
I’m anxiously awaiting your coming post explaining Bruce Jenner and what’s going on with his almygdala.
I’m not sure you can attribute that to his amygdala. Nature produces a lot of outliers, given all the humans it produces, and my take is he is just a strange outlier with one small circuit miswired. I do wonder if resource restriction might have changed the outcome though. If he had spent all of his life having to use his Olympian physical abilities to fend off violent barbarian hordes day in and day out, I wonder if he wouldn’t feel happier with what he was given – or at least developed his brain to focus less on how womanly he feels, and more on the satisfying crush of a barbarian skull being caved in by a mace.
I wish him happiness, but I recognize every action is driven by amygdala, and the more extreme ones are driven by a more extreme discomfort. Whether he can resolve it is in my mind, doubtful.
That said, I wish all this stuff was kept out of sight. I find it really, viscerally discomfiting for very deep, primal reasons I couldn’t begin to verbalize.
