UKIP doesn’t care if the left screams racist:
‘We don’t care!’
Ukip spokesman attacks critics who dismiss migration concerns as racist
John Bickley, who also sits on the anti-EU’s party’s national executive committee, said the immigration argument was purely about numbers and not a race issue.
Speaking on Sky News’ All Out Politics, Mr Bickley insisted people “should be free to say what they say”, but claimed the definition of “racism” had been warped by Brexit critics, as a way of attacking Britain’s EU divorce.
His comments come as a poll was released which shows that three-quarters of the public (74 per cent) think Britain is a more divided country than it was a year ago.
This will be traumatic to the rabbits. I think it is somehow related to the stillface expression’s effect in an amygdala hijack. If you are a psychology that cannot compete, and all you have is the hope of being able to make your opponent surrender through the application of social pressure, then seeing them ignore social pressure must be very traumatic.
I am fascinated by the dichotomy between the K-strategist’s focus on ability and quality, even in r-environments where quality means nothing, and the r’s focus on social status and the ability to elicit attention and memory using stimuli that are irrelevant with respect to quality. It is the difference between Kim Kardashian and Audie Murphy. Interestingly, I could not think of a counterpart to Kim from Audie’s epoch in American history, nor can I think of a counterpart to Audie’s fame from today, despite our being in the midst of a global war.
But you see glimmers of the dichotomy, both in the story above, and this one:
German Chancellor Angela Merkel saved Europe’s “dignity” by taking in refugees, French presidential candidate Emmanuel Macron has told a German publication.
The most popular of France’s presidential candidates, Emmanuel Macron, took a stance against anti-refugee sentiment in an interview with German daily Süddeutsche Zeitung, which was published on Monday.
The 39-year-old politician voiced admiration for Angela Merkel and Germany for their handling of the refugee crisis.
“Chancellor Merkel and the German society as a whole were up to the mark of our joint values,” he said. “They saved our collective dignity by taking in refugees and providing them with accommodation and education.”
Notice, UKIP is entirely focused on producing greatness by taking concrete action to make Britain as strong and high quality as possible, while the leftists are obsessed with optimizing their “dignity,” which is just a fancy way of saying optimizing social reputation, even if the country is destroyed. The left, when making arguments, is basically making the argument that nothing, not even filling Europe with violent savages who kill and rape everyone while destroying civilization, is as important as social reputation, and how others view you.
r-strategists just expect these arguments will sway everyone. In times of r they sway enough people, but in times of K, it doesn’t work as well. Amusingly, the r-strategists seem totally incapable of perceiving that the environment is no longer conducive to their arguments. It will be interesting to see if that cluelessness remains right up until the point that their countrymen decide to kill them violently.
I bet it will.
Tell others about r/K Theory, because Muslim migrants are making racism acceptable again
[…] Nobody Cares If They Are Called Racist Anymore, Now That Racist Implies Anti-Muslim-Migrant […]
Well: There was a time, when I avoided the impression of being a “nazi”. But now, after the left tried to declare nearly every german philosopher to be taboo, because these philosophers are considered “nazi” by the left. (For even some of the most ridiculous reasons people can imagine.)
Here in germany, a government agency even called Ayn Rand a “Nazi Philosopher”.After I saw some rather cool guys getting declared as “nazis” by the left, now, I start to feel a little bit proud when being called a Nazi.
If the left calls me Nazi, they sort me into the same category as Nietzsche, Heidegger, Schopenhauer, Evola, Sprengler, Trump, Kant, Ayn Rand, Farage, Zuse, Limonov, Dugin etc.
If the left does not call me Nazi, they sort me into the same group as Judith Butler, Soros, Black Lives Matter, Caitlyn Jenner, Angela Merkel, Barack Obama and many “modern artists” who literally creating “art” by producing crap. (sometimes, the “crap” is a little too literal.)
To be honest, it is pretty obvious which group I would prefer to be included,
Ayn Rand would have brissled at being called a National Socialist (Nazi). She was utterly opposed to all forms of Socialism and Communism.
“It is the difference between Kim Kardashian and Audie Murphy. Interestingly, I could not think of a counterpart to Kim from Audie’s epoch in American history, nor can I think of a counterpart to Audie’s fame from today, despite our being in the midst of a global war.”
Ok, I’ll try. I recommend Marcus Luttrell (“Lone Surviror” ) for the Audie Murphy category of today, and I nominate F.Scott Fitzgerald for the “kim Kardashian” of the 20’s*. Although since Murphy is a WW1 hero, I suppose I should for someone from a decade earlier, and I admit to being more stumped. But rest assured there were r’s in the 1910s. But they were the children of men like JD Rockefeller.
As for name calling. Once they attribute a group’s negatives to what they are, not how they behave, there is no longer a need for that group to try and please the name callers. Just accept they don’t like you and do what you were going to do anyway.
* I only make comment this about Fitzgerald based on the idea that authors write what they know, and the Great Gatsby is pretty decadent. But then it was the 1920s
Audie Murphy was a WW2 hero. Perhaps you’re thinking of Sgt. York.
Leftists do not think deeply about any of these serious subjects. When talking to a leftist, I always ask them which books and authors on economics they have read. I always get a blank stare.
