A reader linked to this video, which contains the little tidbit that there is no death record for Paddock’s father at 1:01
Also known as having the all access family pass to the amusement park at Langley.
And then there was these two nuggets by Steve Winn, starting at 5:35:
Eleven years… Frequent visitor to this hotel and others…If there was anything interesting that we discovered in the years…that we knew this man completely… if there was anything interesting that stood out over the six years, nobody… has ever seen the gentleman or the lady take a drink of wine, beer, or alcohol of any kind… they never, ever imbibed in any liquor…
However, nobody in this company’s history, no public person has ever walked in the service elevator unless they were accompanied by security… that wouldn’t happen…. nobody ever goes in the back of the house unaccompanied by security.
This is funny given all the stories we have heard about how Paddock was a degenerate alcoholic. Could be he went sober, or it could be he went Islamic. And what was he doing using a service elevator unaccompanied, if that is what Winn just gave up?
To paraphrase Sherlock Holmes, catalog it, remember it, it may shed light on something later.

I’m sure casinos gain intel on each other as much as their guests. It’s a shady world of high security, private interests, organized crime and lots of money changing hands- and all of this interaction takes place in or around these casinos. That’s why Hollywood has made so many movies about casino heists and such. Forever though, there was an unspoken rule. If you’re on the Strip in Las Vegas, keep it safe, keep it classy, don’t mess with the bottom line. Otherwise you can get a visit. Maybe from people who don’t really care about breaking the law or going to jail. Wynn was throwing shade at MGM. His network has informed him what is going on and he didn’t like it, who would? He was putting out the word that he knows more than he’s letting on and the old rule still applies for his properties, and that rule is still enforced, probably in the “traditional” ways. We should respect traditions and unspoken rules.
Mormon? Baptist? Campbellite?
Remember the recent active shooter call at a Vegas casino and the prompt, aggressive response by LVPD that resulted in Seattle Seahawk Michael Bennett getting his hair mussed? Compare that to the inexplicable fumbling by the LVPD at Mandalay Bay. As Pitcrew said, Vegas is a Company town, and they tend to come down quick and hard on anyone who threatens the Bottom Line. The only inference to be drawn from this is that the Company allowed this to happen because somehow they got a bigger offsetting return elsewhere to the Bottom Line.
I don’t drink. I guess that means I’m Muslim. Its really the only explanation for someone not drinking – clearly they are Muslim.
