We may yet find out where the voices in those earpieces come from. And that promises to be a very, very deep rabbit hole.

4. Isn’t quite right. If any states don’t send a delegation, the number to win drops below 270. For example: if Trump wins Arizona’s 11 delegates, and GA, PA, and MI don’t send their 52 delegates to the Electoral College, then the totals are Biden 238 to Trump 244, giving Trump the precise number needed for victory in the Electoral College. If Arizona also declined to send a delegation, Biden wins 238 to 233 with 238 the number needed to win (making NV’s 6 electoral votes the decider).
The only way the target stays at 270 is if the states send their delegates, but the Joint Session refuses to count their votes – as happened in 1873 when the Joint Session declined to accept the votes from Louisiana and Alabama.
