Trump rejected the EU’s offer to drop tariffs on cars because Europeans don’t buy American cars. Very true. A friend who has retired from working in an import/export firm here in the U.K. says it is a lot more expensive to import anything from the US compared to China. It’ll be interesting to see how that changes.
