Recombinant peptide technology kept the antigen separate from the human cells, isolated in an emulsified/oil carrier in the deltoid muscle, which reduced the chances of autoimmunity compared to making your own cells, sometimes in entirely different parts of the body, produce the foreign peptide and present it on their own cell surface of all things, marking your own cells as foreign. No better way to confuse the immune system than that, and they would have known that.
And it would produce a regular dose, standardized in each person, as opposed to mRNA producing massive overdoses in some people, and no doses in others, based on differences in mRNA translation. So many things. No need to use modified nucleotides that don’t break down properly, and later cause other cell signals to not turn off when they are designed to. No vaccine shedding.
Just an endless list of reasons mRNA was inferior, and more costly, and they should have known that. The vax makes no sense as an attempt by intelligent specialists to improve public health.
