This will affect anyone with the FRT15, the FRT15 knockoff, AND anyone with a Hoffman Tactical SuperSafety. The SuperSafety mechanism is very different though it functions identically from a shooter perspective. The ATF is going to LOOSE this because the FRT15 was designed specifically around the statute, and IMO forced-reset is actually superior to a full-auto trigger group because it’s only as fast as the shooter can handle.
When I have MK2 working I plan to machine my own SuperSafety’s for all of my AR’s(I now have more than one, soon to be even more, vids in the works). Hoffman recommends #D printing them in stainless via a print on demand service, I prefer machining them out of 4140, heat treating them, them some sort of cold blue like Blue Wonder.
Also going to be doing some home shop anodizing of aluminum.
