I always see lots of r/K related stories I think might interest the readers here, but I only have time to blog about a few, so here are some additional news stories that might be of interest. You can skim the titles and summaries, and click the links if they are of interest. Keep in mind, many of these reports are products of the Fake News, so although they will be what people are hearing and talking about, there is no guarantee any one of them is necessarily correct, and we have had cases of outright lies make it onto these pages, especially about President Trump.

Here is an article in Italian, about gay-rights people who formed a ring that was stealing kids from hetero families using social services. Interestingly, when I put it into google translate, it failed to detect the Italian, so it didn’t translate. I had to manually select Italian. And notice, in Italy too, they are rooting out rings that were stealing kids from plebe families as parts of organized networks.

Moreover, he would have known all of New York’s bigwigs were going down to take a look, and as Trump pointed out, when they needed construction people to look for wounded in the wreckage, it was guys like Trump sending in their crews to help. This guy knew, and took the shot anyway. I saw on the news where the Fire Chief was said to be working with a law firm which handles Ground Zero victim complaints. Note that if you have a law firm handling Ground Zero Complaints, Cabal will put its people there, because it will want to know what cases are being shopped around. If I walked in, wanting to sue, and I had some critical piece of evidence, like a surveillance video showing an identifiable explosives team placing charges, Cabal would want to know that immediately. The Intel game Cabal played was well thought out, and they were constantly trying to imagine how they could be surprised, and then get someone in a spot to prevent anyone from bringing them a surprise through that avenue. That this guy who attacks the President now has a cushy post-retirement gig with some big law firm exploiting the tragedy is wholly unsurprising. He is one of their people.

AC, I think you’re misreading the ‘scaramucci model’

My interpretation is that a swamp critter is running a department/group/function is blown out. A temporary person leading the department (like the mooch) comes in and does a lot of the unpleasantness and things that would make the new guy unpopular (like firing all of the former boss mans swamp favorites, changes a few egregious pollciies etc). Thus the animus of the bureaucracy is aimed at the temp, enabling the new permanent person to come in and rebuild the department without having the enmity of the machinery.

If the new appointee made a lot of the changes he/she would be locked in a battle with their department to clean it out, and compared unfavorably to the predecessor. You make the temp (between nomination and confirmation) the bad guy, and the permanent appointee the more reasonable and good guy. relative to the temp, in the eyes of the bureaucrats.

That, to me, is the scaramucci model. I guess we’ll see in the ODNI transition. If swampy susan gordon runs it until Radcliffe is confirmed, the swamp is still in full control. If somebody else is interim, but doesn’t do much, my definition of the mooch model is wrong. If someone comes in between Coats and Radcliffe’s confirmation (like Whittaker at DOJ) and starts cleaning house, my definition is likely correct.

If that ‘agent of god’ was locked in with you when you died, it would start gnawing on your dead carcass before you started to smell. I remember seeing a documentary about dogs where someone theorized they evolved away from wolves to be more like infants…but in a parasitic sense. It’s as if they evolve to be replacement children, which is why people get weird about them more compared to other animals. To be fair though..people can get weird about anything. I’m on a chicken keeper page on Facebook, and people will cry like babies and post pictures when their favorite hen passes. Anyway, I saw that doc as a message from God, like, “Don’t be like one of those weirdo white women who gets broody about puppies over babies.”

I’m convinced that different animals have different rates of good vs. evil.

Dogs are almost all agents of the light, some more than others but very few bad apples.

A new case of Ebola has been registered in the eastern DR Congo city of Goma, a key transport hub, a Congolese health official said on Tuesday, as the virus death toll rose to 1,790.

It is the second case of Ebola detected in the lakeside city of more than two million people, close to the Rwanda border.

“I have just been informed of a case of Ebola in Goma,” Dr Aruna Abedi, coordinator of the Ebola response in North Kivu province, told AFP.

Health officials said the latest case involves a man from a northeastern rural community, who arrived in Goma on July 13 and was later diagnosed.
