More like the Florida Swamp is concerned about Adam Putnam’s bid for governor. The first reported problem in the concealed carry process was a pack of lies, claiming background checks weren’t being done at all. Instead, one employee wasn’t processing NICS denials (one of three types of background checks as I recall), which isn’t a terrible problem because they have such a high false positive rate (although that’s a great problem because starting in 2016 the FBI stopped processing appeals, you have to spend $$$ in the courts to maybe correct that). Any reports from the same sources should be initially ignored until the real facts are unearthed.
