News Briefs – 06/27/2024

Here are some news stories that might be of interest. Most articles will be more or less summarized in the headline. You can skim the headlines and summaries, and click the links if they are of interest. Keep in mind, many of these reports are products of an unreliable news media, so although they will be what people are hearing and talking about, there is no guarantee any one of them is necessarily correct, and we have had cases of outright lies make it onto these pages.

We have an advertiser, The Daily Financial Trends – a financial news aggregator designed to deliver the data other financial sites deliver, but in a fraction of the time. Give them a click and see if you prefer getting your financial news there.

If you have clicked on the page for this News Brief, this is a link that will take you directly to the comments section.

I notice that a good portion of them have last names that end with the letter Z. Shocker.

What I want to know if why all of my Mexican callers all have hyphenated names? Who does that unless they have a damn good reason or they are unwilling to take the man’s name? Males and females. Is this a Mexican thing?

They list their mother’s (maiden) surname AND their father’s surname. Dad’s name comes first.

Most don’t even the husband’s name upon marriage. They might fill school paperwork for the kids out with the dad’s surname only.

American Cubans though–usually only one surname, and the women usually take the husbands last name.

Sex contract is probably a good idea, but his mistake was to make it long term. A long term contract looks like a marriage where familiarity breeds contempt.

He should have limited the contracts to 6 weeks, with 50% payable on completions.

That Muckraker video about the child trafficking is crazy. It reminds me a bit of those pedos that get caught and confronted by guys who film them in public but instead of getting scared or breaking these people mostly stayed cold as ice and just covered their badges. I also noticed many of them had earpieces and ear buds. Who was talking to them?

AC I know you’ve been following the story of Mathew Perry’s death and investigation, well there seems to be a new update. Basically law enforcement is saying they think multiple people should be charged and their (LAPD, DEA and USPS) investigation is nearing it’s completion. Also Charlie Sheen’s ex wife has been questioned multiple times by authorities because she knew Perry in rehab and may be helping them in their investigation somehow.

Biden will face ‘serious pressure’ to stand down if he stumbles in debate, warn Democrats.

The Deep State/ Cabal is not going to give up its “Biden” operation so easily, so treat all these stories as planted misdirection, to reassure normies that there will be an election.

This story appeared in a British newspaper, the Telegraph, and while the Telegraph is one of the less bad British publications, their media is even more controlled than American media. And the sources are two Obama staffers. That information alone should tell you that this is a planted story by intel.

Russia says it has proof the US is moving its overseas biowarfare programs into Africa now that the Ukrainian programs have had to shut down.

Most important link today, and these stories are an indication that the special military operation really did shut down the Covid operation, since Ukraine was important in running the Covid operation somehow.

Bombshell poll shows Tories pushed into third place behind Lib Dems in election bloodbath.

Liberal defeat is now possible in every single ace across Canada.

Britain and Canada use single member plurality, like the USA (France uses single member majority), but unlike the USA have multiparty systems, so small shifts in vote percentage can cause a large number of seats to change hands.

But also keep in mind that the Cabal seems to have figured out how to game even honest polls. I think they have the capacity to flood surveillance assets into the samples. So view polls as kind of fake and they seem to be going for an outsized Labour majority in the UK.

Here is the Electoral Calculus prediction, based on taking an average of polls, that is the basis of the UK story:

https://www.electoralcalculus.co.uk/homepage.html

They still have the Conservatives in second place in the popular vote, and with twice the support of the Liberal Democrats. The problem for the Conservatives is that their support is spread fairly evenly, and they are still twenty percent behind Labour. But Labour has almost no support in rural Britain. In rural British seats the main opponent to the Conservatives will be the Liberal Democrats, so even with only 11% (historically low for them) they would win a lot of these seats if the Conservatives collapse.

In Canada, its important to remember that Trudeau and his party have never been that popular. His best electoral performance was 39.5% of the popular vote in the really flukey election of 2015, and he later called two elections in a row where the Liberals got just over 30%, and fewer votes than the Conservatives. The news is that they just lost a seat in over-gentrified downtown Toronto, one of the few places where they might be genuinely popular, and their candidate was the chief of staff to Chrystia Freeland.

Though things won’t change much under a Conservative government, they will chance a little, and I don’t think the Cabal wants to deal with Polievre. As long as the Trudeau keeps the New Democrats, who are propping up his government, happy, he can avoid calling an election until 2025, and by them they might succeed in getting rid of these annoying elections.

Throwaway comment on the Trump pick for Vice President, since he might be announcing it today. Also this comes with my usual caveat that I don’t think there will be a multi-candidate election this year.

I think people tend to attach too much important on the effect on the election campaign, when the main consideration is whether the candidate has the experience to be President and will continue the policies of the presidential candidate. In the case of Trump, there is the consideration of avoiding someone that the Deep State will move to remove Trump to get the Veep into the oval office.

Here are my top five, with Ron Johnson being my preference.

Ron Johnson, Senator from Wisconsin, before that an accountant and the CEO of a plastics company owned by his family. Along with Rand Paul, he has been the leading critic of Fauci and the vaccine push in the Senate, so the Deep State will hate him. One of the few Senators consistently on Trump’s side.

Electorally, Johnson won three statewide elections in Wisconsin, a critical swing state, and yes they tried to steal the last one, and his demeanor will reassure normie conservatives. The only downside is that the Democratic governor of Wisconsin will replace him with a Democrat if he becomes VP, but that is hedged that the current Democratic Senator from Wisconsin is up for re-election this year, and the Republicans have a decent candidate and could win that seat if Johnson is on the ticket.

JD Vance, Senator from Ohio and a writer, who has been a strong Trump ally and is probably the smartest person in this group. He has been very critical of Project Ukraine, so also won’t be favored by the Deep State. The Democratic Senator from Ohio is up for re-election this year so this also helps with a Senate race.

Ben Carson, former Secretary of HUD and a brain surgeon. He ran for President in 2016 and was considered as Trump’s running mate, but at the time that would have been gimicky. Now that he has successfully run a cabinet department, he is qualified.

I don’t buy the basically Boomer narrative that Democrats win elections on a flood tied of Black votes. Boomers consistently over-estimate the percentage of Blacks in the electorate. However, the narrative is cover for the Democrats stealing elections, so if Trump is obviously popular among real Blacks that makes the election steal harder. And Carson is from Detroit.

Kim Reynolds, Governor of Iowa. The reason I like her is that she has a reputation as an excellent administrator, and was one of the better governors in fighting the COVID operation. However, I checked her Wikipedia bio, and there is next to no information there on the first fifty years of her life (except for the detail that she never earned a college degree), which I consider to be a huge red flag. Trump will never pick her anyway since she endorsed DeSantis.

Josh Hawley, Senator from Missouri and former Attorney General of Missouri. Another Trump ally in the Senate and very good at advocating conservative positions. He is probably the Senator Biden administration officials want to hear from least. The problem is that he is fairly young and his selection will basically lock him in as the Republican presidential candidate in 2024. The others on this list are either in their 60s or JD Vance, who was previously something of a liberal so is not a lock as a Republican presidential nominee. Trump may prefer to keep the 2028 nomination somewhat unsettled.

Another election related comment on the debates.

Trump should be pushing harder to get RFK Jr. into the presidential debate. I think he has a personal conflict with RFK Jr. and won’t, but I have two reasons for this that aren’t usually raised.

The first reason is that Trump has a vulnerability with his support of the COVID “vaccines”. Now he has an explanation in that while he sped up production and approval of them, he never mandated them and really should come out against the mandates. RFK Jr. will raise this and it would be a good opportunity to go in this direction.

The second reason is that debating someone with obvious cognitive impairment is hard. Its almost impossible to do it without coming across as mean, or going too soft and letting your opponent ramble on. This was a problem for Trump the last time he debated Biden, and was a big problem for Oz when debating Fetterman. Trump does well in his interviews when the interviewer is intelligent, and if RFK Jr. is there is can pretty much ignore Biden and debate RFK Jr.

While Kamala Harris doesn’t have dementia, she is stupid enough that she poses much the same problem for Trump’s running mate. So get the whore (albeit still classier than Harris) that RFK Jr. is running with into the Veep debate as well.
