The owner of the Wagner private military contractor made his most direct challenge to the Kremlin yet on Friday, calling for an armed rebellion aimed at ousting Russia’s defense minister. Not entirely clear what is real here, and what is not. It is hard to believe this guy, who is one of Putin’s closest and most trusted allies is going off the rails.

My explanation this morning was the most straightforward explanation of the “insurrection” and fits with military tactics Russia has used historically, that this is an example of maiskirovka.
Ian Kumner at the Reading Junkie raised the same possibility, but asked why Russia would do this. His argument is that they could just continue to do what they were doing.
I think one Cabal or New World Order or collective West goal with Russia is to provoke a thermonuclear war. That is still on track. But there is still a faction that merely wants to re-establish their control of Russia that they had in the 1990s. The plan was crackpot, but seems to have gone something like as follows.
First provoke a war between Russia and some other country, in this case they used Ukraine. The Russian army would perform badly in the war, after which there would be a coup in Moscow to prevent a Russian defeat, and then regime change.
Both the nuclear war plan and the regime change plan are unworkable, because they depend on factors the Cabal has no control over, such as the quality and aggressiveness of the Russian army. But they will keep trying.
So Putin stages the Cabal coup himself, and its wrapped up in less than 24 hours. The Cabal concludes that Putin’s regime is tottering and just one more push will do it. If they don’t fall for it, his position is still unchanged from before. But if they fall for it, there will be another big Ukrainian offensive that they really can’t afford.
Yes. This is what I think. I’d only add that there was likely an actual coup infrastructure in place. Probably involving Wagner, but perhaps not. This whole thing seems like Putin charging into the ambush or getting inside the tempo of the coup plotters.

If the Western mainstream media calls someone a good person, then usually that person is horribly evil, and they usually do unspeakable things to children behind closed doors. Dmitry Peskov’s statements regarding today’s events.
The criminal case against Yevgeny Prigozhin will be terminated, as an agreement has been reached on the departure of Wagner PMC to their own field camps. This was announced by the press secretary of the President of Russia Dmitry Peskov.
Peskov added that Prigozhin himself would leave Russia.
“The criminal case against him will be dropped and he himself will go to Belarus,” the Kremlin spokesman said.
The issue of personnel changes in the Russian Ministry of Defense was not discussed during negotiations with the head of Wagner PMC Yevgeny Prigozhin.

I see what is going on. I had to install a cache plugin because there were so many hits. Each hit was assembling the page from scratch out of the database, and it was too much of a load. The cache plugin hits the database, assembles a picture of how the page looks, and then serves that picture to people over and over, so the database isn’t getting hit over and over. If people go to the page once, it serves them that old image, and keeps serving the old image, until somebody hits refresh and loads the page a second time in quick succession. When the cache plugin sees somebody ask for the page a second time after initially loading it, it assumes the version it is serving may not be satisfactory, and it strips a new fresh copy out of the database, and serves that.
I think you can set up a time limit on most of those. A cached page should be out of date and a new one made every half an hour or so. Should be a setting somewhere in the plugin.
