I have antimalware with Sitelock, to keep hackers off the site, supposedly. Part of the deal is Sitelock scans my site for malware, and has the ability to delete stuff off it if it finds malware. I have been changing passwords fairly regularly also, but Sitelock keeps telling me malware is popping up on the site, and they do a deep clean, only to have the process repeat. So I have no idea if the host is compromised, or if Sitelock might have been where the access comes from. But Sitelock keeps track of file changes. I just noticed every week or so, some files got wiped from the upload folder. I only get the file names. Only one of the files was saved in a host backup, so I restored it. Apparently whoever it was did not like this image, which seems to show the 6 million number is bogus, and the whole Holocaust thing looks a little shaky, apparently. Who knew?:

Images can have malware. BUT i suspect this scanner is using a list that looks for ‘malicious’ content, someone flagged that image (Due to content they disliked). That doesn’t explain the screenshots deleted, which is more mysterious, are they image processing?
I’d be wary of letting any scanner delete content. ‘Quarantining’ fine, put it in a spot to remove it from normal access, but deleting? Bad practice.
If sitelock insists on deleting, stop using them.

So the comment system is NOT part of the main page load. and I have seen weirdnesses with it. My expert opinion (and I work in this industry) is that the comment system/moderation/etc plugins in use are the issue. It might be time to turn it off and point comments to a different place OR use a different set of code (ie remove those and see if others are better). I suspect there is a bug at the least, and backdoored perhaps.
I installed WP Discuz because people wanted to vote for comments, and I liked the idea people could upload pictures. It is supposed to just augment WP’s comment system.
If comments are not on the same page as the brief you may see less people commenting and less people may read the comments that are posted.

One of the jobs of the Speaker of a legislative assembly, and this goes back to medieval times, is to be the chief liaison between the legislature and the King or chief executive. Last October, I commented here that “Biden” probably never existed as a person and was a proof of concept intel operation, and got hit immediately with “shock and awe” gangstalking and what seems to have been increased use of the Beam. So I think I was on to something. If I was right, the dementia is an act to limit interactions with the actor playing “Biden” at the time.

The article posts the results of his electoral races, and the most votes he ever got was 99,217 in the run-off to the 2022 Congressional election. He was elected mayor of Long Beach with 27,420 votes, and re-elected two years later with 31,112 votes. Again, the city has a population of about 450,000.

She worked at various start-ups, did Teach for America, and participated in the Woman’s March against Trump and cited that in her run for Congress.
In Congress, she has been a vocal supporter of increased aid to Ukraine as well as LGBT, though to be fair she has been critical of Israel. The other significant part of her record was voting against an anti-trust bill.
Unlike with Robert Garcia, whom few people seem to have actually voted for, her vote totals in her three elections to Congress are perfectly normal given the district’s population and partisan lean. Her picture is weirdly unflattering.

The letter did not state that this man should become a priest. It did use the phrase “pursue your vocation” which does NOT mean “go become a priest”. Its tone was on the lines of “I”m sorry you are going through this” and sounds like the sort of letter sent by any bishop in response to this sort of thing.

I avoid commenting on the subject because I think both sides are wrong, and people will find my own take too depressing to absorb. I find my own take too depressing.
However, the article is interesting because the actual claim is that a reduction on global carbon emissions is triggering a feedback loop (reducing cloud cover) that is making the problem worse.
This is exactly what biologist Guy McPherson (https://guymcpherson.com/) has been predicting for over a decade. His position has been that climate change is not only happening and caused by carbon emissions, but that it will eventually cause the extinction of humans and other higher animal species.
McPherson also thinks it is way to late to do anything about it, and “green” proposals will make the problem worse and speed up human extinction. One of his arguments is that cutting carbon emissions now will reduce albedo and increase the amount of solar radiation hitting the Earth, and this article says that is happening.
No brainer to grant. There’s no more chance of juror intimidation, witness tampering, or jury tampering.

Security is a rabbithole and I’m just leaving this for your reference.
For my regular sites, I opt for “All-in-One Security” for WordPress, which is a WordPress plugin. It has most of the security stuff built into it, so you don’t have to go into your file directory and mess with stuff. You just enable the security measures you’d like to implement and does it for you. It’s complicated, so learning it might take some time. Some features might mess with your site, so you’ll have to turn things on and off to experiment with what works and what conflicts with the plugins you’re using.
If I need a paid service, I chose Sucuri over Sitelock. It is a bit more expensive, but their customer service has been good. Sucuri also has a pretty solid WordPress plugin that integrates with its service.

The summer of graduation he and his friends, and most of their girlfriends too, would spend every weekend night (and many week nights, too) hitching up and down the main drag, or if they had cars, picking up their hitchhiking friends.

I have some experience with products like Sitelock. They do auto-quarantine files they flag as malware. At the risk of adding more work to your life, you might want to try Sucuri, which is another paid service. You’ll probably have very little learning curve because a lot of these products work on similar principles.
I also use All-in-One Security for WordPress for most of my sites now. It like it because the free plugin lets you do a lot of the basic security functions at the click of a button. Very convenient compared to what I had to do in the past. But stuff like malware scanning is premium. However, AIOS Premium is cheaper than either Sitelock or Sucuri.
