A “water main break” happened in Des Moines and knocked out banks and phone lines throughout the state, including cell phones. So due to a “water main break” cell phones went down across a state.
A “gas leak” near where I live took out a popular bar half a block away from the leak, and no other businesses, and they are supposedly trying to reopen a couple of months later but can’t quite manage it.
To follow up on my earlier comment about Iowa, commentator tmink2020 speculated that “they” like to pull tests to see what they can get away with, and COVID was a test to see what they could get away with, which turned out to be alot. This is increasingly my opinion too.
Field runs are understandable but the COVID one was very large and burnt a lot of good will. You would imagine tests like that would happen in a single city or in a super controlled small test nation like Sweden or South Korea.
COVID will have trained a lot of survivors to not fall for that kind of thing next time.

Why have suppressors all of the sudden been 100x easier to get the paperwork through? 2-5 days to get your tax stamp approved? When for years it too anywhere from 3-12 months to get it through. I mean that’s ridiculous, nothing in government works that fast!
