I often wonder why leftist parties in Europe are very often lead by outright obnoxious personalities.
It’s like somebody carefully selects for only the most anticharismatic personalities to rise to prominence in those parties.
Leftists would vote leftist parties anyway; but the large fraction of voters who is more undecided tends to vote more according a politician’s charisma.
If conservative leaders would use secret influence to attempt to help only the greatest goofballs and intolerable personalities into leading positions of their enemy political parties, much could be gained in limiting leftist parties’ election successes; many voters are not so much influenced by the attraction of the party they vote for, but by the repulsion, disgust, even hate they feel for the other parties. I think that certain highly competent and powerful people exploit this by sabotaging leftist parties by making sure only the most intolerable party leaders come to power in their respective parties, preventing most potential voters to vote for them for emotional, personal reasons.
Secretly helped into prominence in their leftist parties, surprised of their own sudden “success”, those leaders, without even being aware of being agents for their conservative foes, would get overconfidence from their sudden rise to power, and act especially careless and inflammatory.
Here in Germany the leftist parties have suspiciously uncharismatic, hatred-inducing leadership personnel; in GB the same seems to be true (Corbyn, Diane Abbott especially).
Not only are these people unusually often considerably uncharismatic, they also often said silly things hinting a low IQ or general knowledge (grave mistakes in historic knowledge, or math, etc.).
Generally, I think it could be a subtle, but devastatingly effetive political technique to invest valuable resources into trying to help the most repulsive and incompetent people into leadership positions of one’s enemy political party.
It would be genius, and would work great, but only if the underlying election mechanism works the way we think. I keep having this nagging feeling I am missing something.
One potential model that drifts through my mind which might explain things is we never really elected our leaders, (or at least key ones). Imagine if Cabal put morons into those offices as a way of demoralizing the smart, or reprobates as a way of demoralizing the moral, or traitors as a way of demoralizing the patriots. Anybody with any positive quality would eventually be pushed toward being broken, and just wanting to give up. It simultaneously trains you to feel both helpless, and isolated from your nation, like a lone intellect in a sea of imbecility.
I look at how bad it is – importation of violent Muslim rapists, massive corruption, pedophilia, sexual degeneracy celebration, insistence soldiers have restrictive ROEs that get them killed to save and protect our enemies, and on and on. Every fucking decision is wrong. Just Hillary, all by herself. Hillary. And they were sure she was going to win? Are you kidding me? Yet what would a ruthless, immoral, criminal, mentally demented treasonous cunt like her winning say to strong, moral, decent, compassionate male patriots? It would almost make us ask, why even bother. If they can elect her, they could elect anyone.
But if after Trump, we end up with a trustworthy election system, then yeah, your idea would be killer. But until then, I have no idea what is going on out there.
No need, rabbits just keep pushing to the ever more extreme. The popularity contest allows them to vote for who they wish they could be.

The Cabal in Brussels has told the Italian President to refuse the confirmation of the EU sceptic finance minister the new coalition wanted.
