News Briefs – 05/04/2023

Here are some news stories that might be of interest. Most articles will be more or less summarized in the headline. You can skim the headlines and summaries, and click the links if they are of interest. Keep in mind, many of these reports are products of an unreliable news media, so although they will be what people are hearing and talking about, there is no guarantee any one of them is necessarily correct, and we have had cases of outright lies make it onto these pages.

We have an advertiser, The Daily Financial Trends – a financial news aggregator designed to deliver the data other financial sites deliver, but in a fraction of the time. Give them a click and see if you prefer getting your financial news there.

We maintain a light, news-story-only, very mobile-friendly  version of this site, with no comments, at https://www.rkpolitics.com

If you have clicked on the page for this News Brief, this is a link that will take you directly to the comments section.

“Make sure those you follow talk about the surveillance, because everyone who is in the game knows. Make them either damage the machine by saying it, or reveal they are part of it by staying silent. Demanding our side talk about the surveillance is really the closest to a Xanatos gambit our side has.”

Visit our surveillance page, the most important page on this site, and see firsthand the massive Stasi-like domestic spying operation in the US which is targeting you and your loved ones.

GOP Oversight Committee on Twitter:

Rep James Comer & Chuck Grassley reveal the existence of an FBI record alleging then-VP Biden engaged in a bribery scheme with a foreign national.

According to a whistleblower, this record details an alleged arrangement involving an exchange of money for policy decisions.

If true, not only do you have Biden caught dead in corruption, you would have caught FBI assembling blackmail materials on a President, and not prosecuting, similar to Patrick Byrne’s story about FBI having him set up Hillary to be blackmailed by some foreign national, catching her with his help, and then not prosecuting, and simply storing the blackmail on her, for the conspiracy penetrating our government. Whatever that is, will prove to be what is running the domestic surveillance, and the reason no target can get law enforcement to look into what it is. Article here. Daily Mail Article here. Don’t get your hopes up too high. Always remember the Greek Economic Minister, who back when their economy was failing made the famous quote to a journalist, when asked why he lied about something – “You don’t understand, when it is this big, you have to lie!” If this isn’t the smoking gun, showing FBI is running the Cabal blackmail ops on our political leadership for the foreign conspiracy, there will be nothing there for the subpoena. And likewise, if this IS the smoking gun, showing the FBI is running the Cabal blackmail ops on our political leadership for the foreign conspiracy, there will be nothing there for the subpoena. Freedom will eventually come, but it will most likely come at the end of many barrels of many guns, most likely after the exposure of the domestic surveillance operation. Nobody is giving up this leviathan willingly. It will only be given up once there is the threat of great and terrible violence, that cannot be survived, and maybe even only after it hasn’t been survived.

MTG BREAKING: Christopher Wray’s in possession of form proving “Joe Biden took a money payment from foreign national for policy decisions”:

MTG: “More than one” foreign country sent payments to Joe Biden for domestic influence:

DOJ near decision on charging Hunter Biden with tax, gun crimes: report.

Former Barclays boss Jes Staley has been accused of sexually abusing a woman at Jeffrey Epstein’s Virgin Islands retreat, according to a new court ruling. That’s a nice investment bank you have there. It would be a shame if someone released a video of you raping a child… And FBI has all those videos, too because they seized them from Epstein’s the first time he was busted, and then returned them to him (certainly after copying them)…

Jeffrey Epstein Documents, Part 2: Dinners with Lawrence Summers and movie screenings with Woody Allen.

In newest video leak, Tucker Carlson calls Dominion attorney a ‘slimy motherf**er.’ I’m pretty sure this is scripted, to make normies with our views think Tucker is their guy, and thinks just like them. At the end of the day, Tucker knows everything I know. He is like me, just he comes from the right bloodline, or he joined the right secret club, and he is up there, assigned to mentally corral our kind. But just like me, he knows all the secrets – domestic surveillance is ever-present in the US – people all across this country are assigned to listen in everyone’s homes and build files on the children in the grade schools – there is no way the 9/11 hijackers showed up in various sectors looking to fly planes but not take off or land and surveillance didn’t close in on them – and that there is no way the government didn’t allow those attacks to happen…AT THE LEAST. And yet still he will attack young guys who clearly are just looking for truth:

He is a part of the same thing that was actively trying to kill you during the pandemic, by denying you medicines which it is apparently now perfectly fine to take, now that you no longer need them:Restrictions on Ivermectin dropped in Australia. It is no coincidence he applied to CIA, or that he is worth $500 million in a nation which does not let people just have the tools (ie money) to resist the powers that be, unless they are dully controlled. God I hate this bowtie-wearing motherfucker.

On Tuesday, Valuetainment Television made a public $100 million, five-year contract offer to Tucker Carlson, plus ownership shares in the company. Study hard in journalism school anons, and one day you will get an offer like that too, just for speaking the truth and never backing down or supporting corrupt people in government.

Tucker Carlson’s text that alarmed Fox leaders: About Jan 6th – ‘It’s not how white men fight.’ I don’t buy he said this organically. I think this was scripted, for some reason. To increase the revulsion one demographic feels about him to increase division and acrimony, or to increase his appeal to another demographic. It doesn’t feel like something the bow-tie wearing trust-fund baby, who has spent his whole life in an ivory tower, would say. It is unnatural, and doesn’t “fit.” It feels like something the CIA asset was told to throw into his text messages by his handler, because the script would need it later. Remember, everything is fake and gay, and it is all a psyop.

Fox News turns – Fox News Poll: Voters favor gun limits over arming citizens to reduce gun violence; Half worry about being a victim of gun violence, including many in gun-owning households (not even trying to hide it anymore).

From Sundance – It’s still a little too early to predict the attack angle that Fox News Corp is constructing against Donald Trump for their announced control over the August 2023 presidential debate; however, the one thing we are certain of is the attack itself.

Robert F Kennedy Jr: “We need a peaceful revolution.” Definitely not going to work. You have a massive swath of society, 2-3% minimum, and maybe 8-10%, who do not believe other citizens should have privacy, or freedom, or personal autonomy, and who want everyone’s life outcome determined and guided by some likely-foreign conspiracy. How do you peacefully coexist with a group like that, trained in intelligence techniques, which will relentlessly seek to re-establish this corrupt system from the shadows, no matter how you appeal to them, because they believe in it, because it benefits them? I think the two outcomes for America are hopeless dystopia, or a violent bloody revolution which will make the Civil War look like a picnic. And Kennedy is looking like he is part of the conspiracy. Teddy was clearly a psychopath. John and RFK, despite being killed by the conspiracy, did not strike me as moral saints either. It would not be surprising to find, yet another Kennedy was a moral-less scumbag, who would sell his whole family out for his own benefit. Until he reveals the domestic surveillance and says it is targeting him – which they all know about because of David Patterson – I think we can write this one off.

Contrary to the narrative that pervaded the media the evening of Jan. 6, 2021, what attorney Michael Hamilton experienced before he left the rally at the U.S. Capitol Building was a day of “peace and prayer.”

Hamilton, who also attended seminary many years ago, held a worship service on the front lawn of the Capitol building.

“People were singing hymns and with their hands held in the air praising God,” Hamilton told The Epoch Times.

Everywhere he went, he said, there were “deep-hearted patriots.”

Then, three 15-passenger white vans arrived flanked by squad cars that Hamilton said he later confirmed to belong to Antifa, a far-left extremist group.

What Hamilton began to observe was a different, aggressive energy flooding into the crowd shortly thereafter…

“These new protesters were dressed like Trump supporters, but they were not Trump supporters,” Hamilton said. “They could disguise their appearance, but not their spirits. They were angry. It was time to leave.”

A former FBI supervisory agent has been arrested on charges that he joined a mob storming the U.S. Capitol, where he cheered on rioters attacking police officers, federal authorities said. It would be strange for an FBI Agent, who probably often worked with cops, to cheer an attack on cops, unless he viewed it all as a school play, and he was just there, on orders, having a good time with it.

The long era of the dominance of the SAT in college admissions is coming to an end. From the article, why they are eliminating meritocracy has nothing to do with promoting domestic surveillance people over everyone else:

The deeper problem with the SAT, of course, is optics; it doesn’t produce the racial outcomes that the people who run institutions of higher education, especially elite ones, want. At the end of the day, the test that has been smeared over the years as a tool of white supremacy is a conveyor belt for Asian Americans into top colleges in numbers that college administrators find embarrassing and inconvenient.

Gaetz: ‘AOC is wrong a lot — But she’s not corrupt.’ Bad optics. It appeals to the middle, who will always oppose Matt, but Matt’s real constituency knows the score and that AOC is an asset of somebody’s, and fully under control. Which means she is undoubtedly corrupt, and his supporters will know it, and dislike this, as they will feel Matt should know better.

Woody Harrelson says Matthew McConaughey IS his actual brother. Elsewhere in the interview, Harrelson also took aim at the Left… the Hollywood star blasted those who push the “liberal agenda” as “f**king idiots.”

Death of homeless man placed in chokehold on NYC subway is formally ruled a HOMICIDE: Protesters take to platforms demanding Marine who tackled him is charged. He was, according to family, autistic, schizophrenic, off his meds, suffering PTSD from his mother’s brutal murder, had been arrested 42 times over the last 10 years and was last arrested in November 2021 for hitting a 67-year-old woman in the face. Three people were restraining this guy, and the Marine wasn’t charged, and was let go by Police, so the vagrant was probably being violent. That said, LA Police Chief Daryl Gates once said the LA Police Department concluded there was something unique about African American physiology, which did not deal well with pressure to the carotid artery areas. According to him, pressure there somehow would affect the nerve to the heart, and while it would take continuing the choke a minute or two after they fell unconscious to kill most people, some black males would die instantly, within the ten to fifteen seconds it took for them to fall unconscious. This case might bear that out, although I am not sure why you are not hearing of black guys dying throughout Judo and BJJ and MMA schools throughout the country, if it is true, since you will get choked on a regular basis there.

A retired NYPD officer working as a Walgreens security guard says he was wrongfully charged with assault after he took down an alleged shoplifter who hit him in the head in a caught-on-video scuffle. I am wondering if the shoplifter is one of the ground-operatives of domestic intelligence, assigned to take this store down for a competitor who is in the network, and this guy screwed it up and assaulted one of Domestic Intel’s finest.

EVs lose their value twice as fast as petrol vehicles. Of course. A gas vehicle can last 300,000 miles in theory, and then a new engine for a few thousand, and you can still keep going. The majority of the EV price is the battery, which just erodes down to zero, and then you need an entirely new EV. That is why I would never get a rechargeable leaf blower or lawn mower – that is basically a disposable unit. An EV is like one of those cameras you buy where you throw it away after you use up the film, only it costs the same as a digital camera which will last years.

Of course intelligence will still control the AI and what goes viral and becomes well-known, and it will probably reward the deviant and degenerate with views and fame.

Donald Trump criticized Brexit leader Nigel Farage, Wednesday during their interview on GB News for bringing up the 2020 election and then accusing the former president of talking about it too much. Brave Search seems to be getting worse.
The results are worse and they have stopped having an independent image search, now when you tell it to do an image search it asks if you want google or bing and then opens a new tab with google or bing for you.
It does the same thing for a video search.

It, like everything, is becoming awful.

there is a new one

https://freespoke.com/

but I’m sure while some “conservative” owns it, it’s much the same. I know I will be moving on from brave as it’s useless without image search. Bing’s image search is awful and I really google. Bing tries to be helpful and that part is good but the interface is retarded. Basically, I want to be able to open a picture in a new tab or open the website the picture is from. Bing makes that so you have to go to the page. No new tab. It’s retarded. This is an example of someone optimizing the wrong thing with tons of software to do…stuff you don’t want.

To be fair, Brave will have image search again. This is just them phasing out their dependence on Big Tech. One of the reasons why I suspect sabotage is that the search got so suddenly bad right when they decoupled from Bing. I’m sure Brendan is aware of just how bad the search is, but I’ve stopped listening to Brave’s weekly stakeholder meetings. BaseBraveUser archives them, in case anyone’s interested.

Here’s the article announcing Brave’s independence from Bing. Brendan’s team does have a long history of releasing features before they are mature, then improving them via user feedback. I think they still see all of their products as betas, which strikes me as absurd from the business perspective…

Tell me if this seems like a good idea: Launch a David Patterson for President 2024 campaign, with or without his permission, as a write-in candidate, promoting him as the only choice because he is The Anti-Surveillance Candidate. Plaster stickers everywhere in a hurry, like that Andre the Giant OBEY bullshit. Might it get Patterson killed if it gains momentum? Eh, that would backfire on them, with the Streisand Effect and all. Mmmm…imagine all the potential awesome slogans and taglines and viral meme…you come up with gems pretty much every single day at the bottom of your blog, lol. Bonus level: Launch an *international* campaign to elect Patterson as whatever the head of state is called in every democratic country. Even if he is not even remotely qualified in, say, Iceland or Japan. A gesture to raise awareness, a spiteful Fuck You to cabalistic cuntlords around the world. Anoint Patterson as the Anti-Surveillance Messiah, or an Anti-Surveillance Prophet, at least…he’s even got the whole blindness thing going for him as a prophet, lmfao. And hell, if it miraculously worked, isn’t he just about the only candidate in the country you trust, aside from Trump? Imagine if we hit the Fate/Timeline Lottery and actually got the honest son of a bitch elected…

Looks like that factor is being defeated as we speak. Guns alone don’t bring victory there needs to be more.

>Rechargable leaf blower

While I agree with respect to the EV cars, but battery powered leaf blowers and other lawn tools are actually very convenient. You don’t have to deal with oil and fuel spilling. You don’t have to mess around trying to get it started. And even if the battery did go bad, and mine is still fine after several years, its like 50 bucks for one of those. Unless you have a huge property/run a business and need to run it continuously for a long time the convenience advantage for electric is very real.

10,000 for a new car battery every 5 years and limited range is definitely bullshit. Leafblowing is good and fine though.

My Makita blowers – I have a small and large one – have removable batteries, just put in a newly charged one and keep going. All of my tools except for my table saw are now battery operated, even my Compound Miter Saw and my chain saws. It is a pain when I have to use a corded tool these days. The increased cost for extra batteries is more than worth the convenience. I even have a battery glue gun. Now that is really convenient.

Here’s a dissenting opinion:
Bought 28V Milwaukee. Batteries died within about 2 years of little to no use. The chargers I believe were the problem, as in leaving them on the charge to maintain them destroyed them, which is the point of having batteries. You don’t want the batteries dead when you need to use the tool.
I own a Stihl leaf blower, edger, weed eater, chainsaw, and trimmer. I use about 2 gallons of fuel for the whole season, which means 2x trips to the gas station. “Recharging” takes about 60 seconds with no spillage (buy the right gas can). Haven’t needed to maintenance any of them other than the weed eater, swapping out the spark plug after 10 years.

This is why they yolo everything. Trannies in the Navy? Lol sure good idea it will really piss off the rubes! Make black women into a Brahmin Class? Lmao yes yes! And that was true for a few decades. But Cavoli is a real person and competent and he has some ice cold water for Cabal.

https://youtu.be/fKAkxdTnIzo

The RUS SMO and CHN saluting Putin and Iran taking tankers and SoKo opting for non-USD trade etc etc. Are simply ppl telling the US that our submatine advantage is either gone or not sufficient.

It all rests on the subs, and if Cabal maintained enough capability. The signs say they did not right now.

The Banksters must have a collection agency. Cabal must have enforcers. A debt on paper and nasty lawyers and judicial judgments aren’t enough. Word magic isn’t enough. Out rivals are saying you haven’t got the stick anymore get fucked.

President Donald Trump will not put up a defense in his civil trial on allegations that he raped former columnist E. (((Jean Carroll))) in the mid-1990s, as an expert witness to attempt to rebut Carroll’s allegations in the case was unable to testify due to “health issues.”

Three options. One, they intend to win on directed verdict because there has been no actual evidence introduced of the alleged tort (very unlikely, and even if merited rarely ruled for by judges.)
Two, they think that the plaintiffs have done such a shit job that the jury feels like the last week of their life has been a complete waste, are angry at her for wasting their time, and that Trump is better off telling them that and saying, “we could have spent another two days having an expert tell you what you already know, but we trust you.” I’ve been there when that decision is made. It’s a REAL tough call to make, but it has worked out when we’ve done it. You base a lot of it on body language from the jury, and it also screws the plaintiff over if they intended to make the last part of their case in the cross of your witnesses.
Third, they are relying entirely on the appeal, which is probably a safe bet. I can’t see any scenario where the statute of limitation has run, the legislature opens it back up for a year, and that isn’t seen as an ex post facto law.

Death of homeless man placed in chokehold on NYC subway is formally ruled a HOMICIDE: Protesters take to platforms demanding Marine who tackled him is charged.

Fake news. Not in the sense that it is not true, but in the sense that it is not news and you are being misled by it being reported that way.
Is it legally a homicide? YES. Because ANY time a person’s actions caused the death of another person, it’s homicide. That doesn’t mean it’s murder or manslaughter. Car accident that kills someone? Homicide. Executed by the state? Homicide. Justified shooting? Homicide.
Fake news. It’s news when they decide to charge manslaughter or murder.

New training documents from the U.S. Marshals Service show law enforcement agents were discouraged from arresting leftist protestors outside of the homes of Supreme Court Justices last year.

By who? Those documents didn’t just appear out of thin air, in some sort of immaculate production. Someone ordered them made, someone wrote them, and someone approved them. Those people have names and addresses.

The majority of the EV price is the battery, which just erodes down to zero, and then you need an entirely new EV.

I’ve known two people who had Priuses, including one of the original ones. On both of them, when the battery degraded, the whole car was totalled and scrapped. By the time the battery goes, there’s so much wear on the car (because they build the things to be so light) that even if the battery was economical, it wouldn’t be worth replacing.
It’s like putting a new engine in a car with a rusted through frame, floorboards you can see the street through, and leaks from every window seal. It’s just not worth trying to fix the rest of it too.

Well, there goes my argument.

Navy SEAL who helped kill Osama Bin Laden fumes over Navy’s decision to use drag queen for their recruitment program.

The real bullshit here is that someone is pretending to be a Navy SEAL who helped to kill Bin Laden. Zero Dark Thirty was a Hollywood movie. There’s no reason to believe that any of those events transpired.

Karl Denninger revised his estimate of the number of people impaired by the COVID injection the other day. I think his calculations are off because usually the injection was not administered like it was designed to, so most people who got it got goo. That will limit the damage.

However, commentator Chromehill made a good point, and its worth reposting the first part of the comment here:

“Regarding the 5% of people who have died, will die or live a miserable existence…that percentage is much higher for the people who got an actual Jab that was stored at the required temperature all the way through the chain of custody.

“Most people got a shot of goo because the Jabs were not stored at -80 degrees. Peter McCullough had a French business consultant on his podcast (about 6 weeks ago) who has done lots of research into the jab. He stated if you did not have a reaction to the Jab, you are most likely in the clear. If you had a reaction to the Jab, you are probably fucked. The consultant’s business has been destroyed.”

The point about people being probably OK if they got the injection and not having an immediate bad reaction is important information. Otherwise look into all the COVID treatments that were discouraged.

Entire discussion is at https://market-ticker.org/akcs-www?post=248694&page=1.

From the article, statement from his school: “It has been an incredibly sad start to the term for the Greensborough College community as we mourn the passing of Balin Menzies, our student, classmate and friend,” the statement read.
It was probably the school that forced him to get the vax in the first place in order to keep attending. Sometimes ‘Clown World’ is a grotesque understatement

Actually, it was Jean-Claude Juncker, 12th President of the European Commission, who said, “When it becomes serious, you have to lie,” speaking of the EU finance crisis in 2011.
Yanis Varoufakis, former finance minister of Greece during the debt issue with the EU, once said about the EU, “[It’s] just like the Eagles song Hotel California – you can check out any time you like, but you can never leave.”

Minister of the Federal Supreme Court (STF) authorizes the Court itself to decide on the regulation of social networks

The decision was made in a monocratic way by Minister Dias Toffoli, and establishes predictability over an action already stated by supporters of the Censorship Bill

In this case, the theme will no longer need to be considered by Congress and will only be given by a final decision by the STF itself.

Sunak’s fellow Asians are literally stealing livestock like this poor lamb, knowing the police will do nothing:
https://youtu.be/joyxBX-rXb0
People in original comments were probably censored but in those video comments we’re pointing out that even white immigrants are murdering our native bird population, one in Windsor beheaded a Queen’s swan in a public park owned by her! e.g.
https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-berkshire-56388295
https://www.windsorobserver.co.uk/news/23423895.swan-support-hit-back-punishment-teenage-swan-murderer/
https://www.getreading.co.uk/news/reading-berkshire-news/swan-shot-head-with-air-19338344
ALL different stories, not the same one. Note we never get a name.
Mostly Eastern Europeans doing it, standard white trash stealing from our ancient churches the lead roofing too, anyone praising Polish, Romanian immigrants has NOT lived near them in large numbers. They are just as bad, sometimes worse. There used to be Met crime data reports listed in the paper by nationality and most prison thieves were EE. Obviously they called this white in the data and not immigrant.
Here’s one from 10 years ago
https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-berkshire-23778649
And all the immvasion has literally caused a ROYAL borough to be so short on funds (gotta pay for thieves!) that it considered bankruptcy. One of the richest areas in the country, where Royals get married.
https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-8269187/Windsor-Maidenhead-council-country-file-bankruptcy.html
But WHO will decapitate our royal birds for us? DM used to have an article about another decapitation, not the one below, that was interrupted by a mortified native, at a different time, in the same place but I cannot find it. Think they deleted it. Wonder why?
https://www.maidenhead-advertiser.co.uk/news/windsor/77870/GRAPHIC-CONTENT–Headless-swan-found.html
Not long ago, stealing one rabbit and trespassing got you shot or hanged and this is obscene. Of course they didn’t care when it was white girls being snatched up either (ongoing), victim blaming the kid instead of the pedo as ‘paki shaggers’ (police term) and they still buy ‘kebab’ from the same immigrants… insane. The abandonment of all racial duty is literally insane.
Seriously, some of the pol-style white nationalists are scum for saying it’s okay if the savagery is pale. Note: some. You haven’t lived near gypsies and their ilk, for example. The ‘sweet’ Polish girls make notorious pickpocket little kids, they’re smiling AT us, not WITH us. But many guys are thinking with their dick instead of looking at statistics. ALL immigration is a bad idea. Deport them ALL or this will happen to America and other countries too, I hear you’re taking a lot of EEs as we speak? DO NOT DO IT. They are NOT with you! Sometimes the 3rd world element of savagery is also in Europeans and we don’t want, never wanted their Eastern degeneracy (including child brothels???) in Western Europe! Even the bold, prescient clever guys like Vox don’t mention this despite being sharp and ahead of the curve and it’s like… don’t you know? -Do you really not know? I don’t think you truly know the extent of this and he should ask his subscribers for stories on his platforms, I’d be fascinated what people say without censorship. We know tons of this happening everywhere in England. So viewing it as purely racial like Americans are wont to do, won’t work, there are sub-racial, national differences and it’s looking like civil war will need to come here too. Even some of the white immigrants will likely align with the Asians based on behaviours, the latter has never been a model minority here, where Asian is PC newspeak for pedo. I linked to one of the most married, white, rich and milquetoast areas of the country with royal guards and a military base and it’s still that bad. America should discuss this. Do not mistake a colour chart for proper selection. They will also traffic your little girls, claiming it’s their ‘culture’, but since they’re deported to child brothels in EE nobody really catches them! Sometimes sold onto Arabs after EEs are done with them for worse abuses and tortures. This is like when I warned you about international private plane pedos pre-Epstein. It’s a flashing indicator and literally nobody is taking it seriously.
They use the white trash immigrants invading us (and sometimes taking daily flights back home with stolen goods) to rig the racial crime data e.g. https://www.gov.uk/government/statistics/ethnicity-and-the-criminal-justice-system-statistics-2020/ethnicity-and-the-criminal-justice-system-2020

Part of a conversation I had elsewhere:

WWI and the end of the glorification of war were deathblows to our cultures.

Society functions best when the nations are divided and fight over interests and ideology in addition to more peaceful competition.
Perpetual peace is the seed of society deciding it doesn’t need men and the elite deciding they don’t need the average man.
The fall of the USSR brought us clown world.

Colonialism was the beginning of the end for Europe because it transported the wars to distant lands where the nation was never threatened and where the enemies were no match for the few soldiers sent to fight or at least if another European nation was involved it was all limited to expeditionary forces
WWII resulted in most potential rivals being shoved into two camps and all conflict frozen because of nuclear war.

The fall of the USSR brought on an r selecting perpetual peace until just recently.
The best thing that could happen would be if the conspiracy theorists who claim nukes were a globalist hoax were proven correct, the runner up would be some kind of anti-nuke shield laser system being created and proliferated, especially since it would also interdict all strategic and operational missile weapons.

Wars should not be fought for light and transient causes, but they should be fought.
That will only change when the world ends.

I’m not saying colonialism was bad in the way the left does.
I’m saying it took the warrior spirit out of Europe.

WWI was the result of the alliance building that delayed wars but caused WWI to be so much larger.
It’s like forest fires.
You can allow lots of small fires or you can have gigantic fires break out eventually.

There is no glory in mowing down spear wielding tribesmen with Maxim guns to take their resources and not even drive them out to replace them with your own culture.
Cultural relativism sprouted from the seed of cultural patronism.
Having such total mastery of the foreigners but leaving them in place led to seeing them as sympathetic figures, then those that sympathized with them sought to see them as equals culturally, now the left has moved on to insisting they were superior victims.
They should have been left to their own devices in whatever territory they kept and either traded with or further fought with as circumstances dictated.

“you’re a better man than I am, Gunga Din” was a warning sign, and it’s not the only bad thing from Kipling
Empire (defined as dominating foreigners rather than expanding your own population and territory) is a mistake every time.

Write-in candidates don’t exist in my state. Candidates for office have to be sponsored by a “recognized political party”, which means they’re chosen by the Republicans, Democrats, Greens, or Libertarians. All NGOs not answerable to anyone.
