I’m watching bits of the confirmation hearings via War Room, and people may have heard of the Hegseth hearings, and with that one Megyn Kelly describes it best:

https://www.realclearpolitics.com/video/2025/01/14/megyn_kelly_on_hegseth_hearing_why_do_the_women_have_to_be_these_hysterical_fools.html

After reading that, you don’t have to go and watch the hearing or read anything else about it.

The others weren’t nearly that bad.

Gavin Newsom prohibits offering to buy people’s property.

Cabal needs time to organize its buyout strategy, and can’t have non-conspirators front-running them on the properties.

Back when I was still in IT they were advertising locally. I followed up on it. They were willing to pay about 1/4 of the going industry average for sysadmins, programmers, and network guys.

Their excuse was, “our offer is consistent with local wages.” That was just before “the internet” really took off, but even then, nobody was going to move to the north Arkansas woods to work for peanuts.

It only knows Chinese if the programmers pointed it at Chinese datasets.

They primed the English pump with Twitter, Reddit, and Facebook. They’re probably using data from Weibo, QQ, and WeChat now.

I saw something in an AI newsletter that they used Chinese programmers for part of the development and training process, so Chinese is normal for it.

> A new whistleblower claims to not only know about a secret government UFO retrieval program

My usual thought is, “if they have alien tech, where is it?”

On the other hand, the various American Indian tribes were in contact with Europeans for centuries, and none of them did their own metalworking, distillation, gunpowder, or gunmaking. They had everything spread out right in front of them, from start to finish, but a matchlock musket was the same as a nuclear power plant or alien FTL drive – they just didn’t *think* that way.

They *wanted* alcohol, guns, and other artefacts of modern civilization, but never made the jump past “buy or steal it” to “make our own.”

Maybe the Fed’s researchers have the capability to copy alien tech… but they have the same mental block the Indians had.

I’ve brought up a similar case regarding the pyramids, and other ancient sites that people still wonder how they were built. Hardly anyone brings up that people of ancient times thought differently than we do now. The issue with history, especially history told nowadays, is that a modern bias is superimposed thus leading to a grossly distorted and misinterpreted view.

It’s common to point to Gutenberg’s printing press in the 1450s, but it was another three hundred years before it made much impact to “progress” in Europe, and despite spreading worldwide, had little effect in most countries.

Personally, I attribute it to the British monarchy.
(seriously collapsed overview of a long and complex section of history; skipping a lot of important and interesting stuff to fit into a blog post)

Unlike most countries, the British monarchs were dirt-poor. The Throne of St. James was the booby prize for the European royal family, even after Britain became a world-wide empire. Somewhere in the dawn of British history, Parliament got control of the Treasury, and the Crown had to scavenge money where it could.

One of the unquestioned sources of royal income was import and export duties. Probably because they were negligibly small when the Crown lost control of its own finances.

In the mid-1700s the beginnings of the Industrial Revolution were being felt, primarily in the textile industry. Britain imported raw cotton and exported finished cloth. And the King’s taxmen took their cut every time something crossed British borders; money that went to the Crown, not to Parliament.

The various monarchs then supported the merchant class, and the new industrialist class, offering them official praise, money or land, and occasionally titles. Which was a powerful spur in a class-oriented society. Because the more money *they* made, the more money the King got.

We have some counter-examples. France was, scientifically and technologically, more than a generation ahead of Britain. Modern chemistry and medicine originated in France, and were widely adopted. Technology… the kings and royals viewed most of it as distruptive, and aborted progress by puntive taxation or reassigning patents to political favorites. Germany was a rabble of two dozen independent polities until unification in 1866. Not much progress happened then. But the Kaisers appreciated the military value of technology, and successfully used it against France in the War of 1870.

An interesting factoid. Way back before the industrial revolution in England a Chinese guy found a way to make large quantities of iron, maybe primative steel. 35,000 tons per year in in 1018 A.D. If I remember correctly it was the open hearth method. He was making many. many tons of this stuff. He apparently got rich and too much power so the Emporer came in and shut him down. He appaerntly resisted but was defeated. Think if he would have won and been made Emporer. It would have been a very different China possibly. It was hundreds of years before the same happened in England and lead to the Englsh basically running the world.

This was in the book,
“The Pursuit of Power: Technology, Armed Force, and Society since A.D. 1000” by William H. McNeill

An outstanding book and well worth reading.

BTW my firefox spell check quit working because the geniuses, now ful of D.I.E., have done an update that killed it somehow. My fingers type out all sorts of gibbirish, hit the wrong keys and my spelling is atrocious. I really need this spell check but no, to hell with the people we need more updates that do nothing useful. They take something that worked great. Really great , and keep making it worse with superflicious “features” that very few people want.

One simple example, being able to save a HTML file in one file, no folders. Something so obvious that it can not be contested. Otherwise every time you save a whole page your folders are littered with a folder for every file. Now there’s a plug-in for this but it’s absurd that it’s not built in. People have been asking for this for, maybe, over a decade and they refuse to do it.

“British monarchy”

Yes, thier support, or lack of regulation, made the Industrial Revolution happen. Note many, all???, of the canals, railsoads, in England were private affairs while in China I think it was all State supported.

Depending on the people involved, like the water reservoirs in California, the whole thing can come crashing down without diligent people controlling things. A cavet, making everything private for profit can be just as bad or worse in some cases if it’s a monopoly. Like the criminals in the California power system that did so little maintenance that the hooks holdling up the power lines wore through and caused billions of dollars of damage in fires. California has examples of the worst of both ends.

The United Kingdom is no longer a kingdom as the monarch no longer has powers.

Even a republic has a President.

I would guess UK Prime Minister is effectively the Governor, acting on behalf of another (probably foreign) power structure

*Some* can’t afford babies. Without compromising their DINK lifestyle, anyway. Life just wouldn’t be worth living without $300 sneakers and $15 avocado toast.

Other demographics are *paid* to have babies. With your tax money. And they get more money if they don’t bother to marry or get a job. Such a deal!

This comment is way beneath the usual quality of your comments. You are mainlining propaganda, including some of the phrasing.

Karl Denninger on Market Ticker did the math a few months ago, and estimated a single child now comes at a cost of one million dollars in lifetime earnings. The main culprit seems to be the inflated housing market.

Lots of sources indicate that real lifetime earnings have also dropped for each generation after the Boomers.

Think about it. The entire point of this blog, and more so the American Stasi site, is that this is a potemkin vilage run by a secret Cabal, that has deployed a massive surveillance network, and they work to promote people in the network at the expense of everyone else. Why wouldn’t this also include subsidizing people in the network reproducing, and making that more difficult and costly for everyone else?

When trads run with the “suck it up and have eight kids” rhetoric, they just lose credibility with their other messages.
