National Concealed Carry Reciprocity Is Coming

A huge advance:

National reciprocity for concealed carry passed the House Judiciary Committee on Wednesday is expected to receive a floor vote before the end of the year.

The Concealed Carry Reciprocity Act of 2017 was introduced by Rep. Richard Hudson (R-NC) on January 3, 2017. It changes federal law that so concealed carry permits are treated like driver’s licenses, making a permit from one state valid in the other 49. This would fix the complicated and often confusing patchwork of concealed carry laws currently in effect throughout the country.

To put it simply, Hudson’s bill allows the common man to defend himself and his family as he travels throughout this country.

This is huge. Technically, people are saying it looks like a resident of New York City will be able to get a non-resident carry permit out of Florida, and then possess and carry a high cap Glock that violates New York’s magazine ban.

Which raises the question, what do you think the chances are that the left will be able to organize a mass shooting between now and when it is signed? Bet your ass they are working overtime to put one together.

Tell everyone about r/K Theory, because have gun will travel

A lack of prey animals will lead to hard competition among the criminals. They will focus on other crimes or do those crimes that incapacitate the victims first knock-out game style.

Sandy Hook was their big chance and they blew it. Practically everything was in the left’s favor at the time. The last couple mass shootings have been big for a couple days and we largely move on to other things.

If the price of living in a climate of leftist hysteria means moving on and focusing on our rights, well damn them to hell and let’s preserve our rights.

I am in one of those “out of state” situations as my state is extremely rigid about giving out permits. But inertia is going to force it on us and I’m very happy about it.

They never had a chance with Sandy Hook. America was founded on Kidnapping, Child Labor, Child Rape and Child Murder. A couple of dead schoolkids won’t change anything in the US when there are legions of childrens bones that it took to get here in the first place.

On the one hand this destroys whatever shred of states rights still existed.

On the other hand, men carrying guns does a lot more to protect states rights than some limp wristed cuck gracefully losing every fight. Ie, the way the homosexuals permanently destroyed marriage by legalizing their prank in one state and then forcing all other states to adopt that standard comes to mind.

(Note that marriage, as per its actual definition was already long ago gutted by the courts. The homosexuals simply trolled the rest of the country over it.)

Men carrying guns also encourages civility. As per this blog on numerous articles, we know that all SJWs have enormous amounts of terror and hatred, hatred because they are egomaniacs, terror because they assume everyone is just like them. Therefore if anyone can carry arms, the SJWs will always assume that the next guy they decide to piss off is only one bad hair day from using them as target practice. In theory, this should tame them a bit

The real problem are the cowardly moderates, who throw the rest of us under the bus any moment they see a chance to get in good with the Left. Altho, as .AC has pointed out, once apocalypse hits, we will see fewer moderates, and far more people choosing extreme r or extreme K.

Of course you still have to worry about actually using that firearm to defend yourself in many states. It’s not as bad in CA, MA, etc as it is in parts of Europe (where to defend yourself is often just about illegal), but it’s getting close.

Still better to be judged by 12 than carried by 6, and all that, but they can really make that ride very costly and uncomfortable. Scum bags.

Not to take away from the awesomeness of this bill, but I don’t think you get NYC carry under this bill. New York doesn’t have state preemption of firearms laws; a NYS pistol license is just toilet paper in NYC. Which also means that the Port Authority will continue to try to nab travelers with guns in their luggage who are supposed to be protected by McClure-Volkmer.
