More NFL Datapoints On How Donald Will Win Bigly

The Steelers Coach did not want Villanueva to go out and stand for the Anthem:

Pittsburgh Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin indicated Sunday night that he did not want offensive tackle Alejandro Villanueva to stand for the national anthem, instead of sitting it out with the rest of his teammates.

Villanueva, a former Army Ranger who served three tours in Afghanistan, was the only Steelers player to stand for the anthem. While Villanueva stood in the tunnel, hand over his heart, the rest of the team remained in the locker room in protest of President Trump’s comments that players who kneel during the national anthem should be fired…

Tomlin said in a post-game press conference that he was looking for “100 percent participation” in whatever course of action the team took during the national anthem.

When asked by a reporter about Villanueva coming out for the anthem, Tomlin said, “Like I said, I was looking for 100 percent participation, we were gonna be respectful of our football team.”

Typical SJW asshole. He feels if he can get most players to do something then tries to force the others to do it to show unity with the group. Let the majority of players be like Villanueva, and he would have been all about each individual’s right to do what they want.

The NFL Banned 9/11 Tribute gestures:

Even as the NFL turns a blind eye to the lengthening list of players protesting America by refusing to stand for the national anthem, the league has decided to crack down on a player who announced his intention to wear cleats to memorialize the vicious terror attacks on September 11, 2001.

Because remembering that day, and all the cops and firefighters who died trying to save fellow Americans is so divisive.

Meanwhile a non=profit has jumped into the fray:

A nonprofit group that supports President Donald Trump has launched a Facebook ad campaign to urge Americans to stand with the president in his criticism of the National Football League. Urging Americans to “Turn Off The NFL,” the group America First Policies has added the hashtag #TakeAStandNotAKnee to push the campaign on social media.

The ad features a photo of President Trump with his hand over his heart:

Rather than watch the NFL disrespect our country… Turn on something that honors the great men and women who make sacrifices to protect our freedom and what our Great American Flag stands for. Thank you to our great Veterans!

I laugh at the people who think Trump is a loose cannon, making it up as he goes along. There was a story about Donald Trump back during the campaign. A business executive had to pitch a deal to Trump, and he recounted the experience. He was going to be given 20 minutes, and he and his team of Ivy League MBAs spent weeks preparing the pitch. They amassed all the data, prepared the presentation, looked at it from every angle, studied every aspect of the deal and how it would work, and after they had it perfect, they were ushered into the board room.

Trump walked in, listened to their spiel, and then proceeded to dissect the proposal in a way that made all of them feel as if they hadn’t prepared at all. The guy specifically said it felt like he was a student being grilled by a professor at the Wharton School of Business when he hadn’t studied the subject at all. He said Trump even quoted figures regarding the deal which he could only have had if he had just gotten off the phone with a stock guy moments before the meeting started.

Their business depended on that deal, and Trump had schooled himself on it better than his entire team had in a week, and Trump even called his stock guy moments before the meeting for the most up to date numbers, so he would be maximally informed.

This is a guy who plans everything. My bet is, long before that off-the-cuff speech about the NFL, Trump had polled this issue, and studied it extensively. He knew every aspect of how each nuance of it would affect the voting populace, and he had mapped out a battle plan that began with an off-the-cuff speech that included a little Eriksonian hypnotic messaging which referenced a big strong guy tackling NFL players, and ended in a swell of patriotism, a replacement of Roger Goodell, and a terror imbued in the heart of every industry that even thought about endorsing SJW causes at the expense of the nation – and a terror in the heart of anyone who thought about supporting the left publicly.

Along the way, the Memelords will appear out of the ether and work their magic, The Donald will redraw the battle lines on the fly along the issues of cop-killing criminals, respect for the Armed Forces, and 9/11, non-profits will spontaneously crop up and pitch in, there may even be some big players on the stock market who offload stocks strategically. And when the whole plan finishes, everyone’s heads will be spinning at just how bigly The Donald has won.

Donald does not make big decisions on the fly. He did not amass billions of dollars and a global real estate empire by taking chances in areas he knew nothing about.

The lesson is, when Donald does something on the fly, and seemingly makes a off-the-cuff mistake attacking you, even when you think you are in a stronger position than him, run. Run fast, run hard, and never look back. Because nothing he does is by chance, and by the time you realize you are in the battle, you probably have already lost.

I think this is really going to be fun.

During the NFL kerfluffle Trump extended the travel ban. All the usual suspects were too distracted to notice. See what he did there?

Being able to endure short and medium term hits to execute a killing blow long term is a subtle art that exploits the fact most oponents tend to under-estimate their adversaries. A cronic hubris if you will, which can be used to your advantage if you are willing to pay the price to action.

It always makes sense to give the Donald the benefit of the doubt, he is the President after all. And that Villanueva is an impressive guy. A rare example of when Jus soli happens to work in America’s favor. Notice the K trend.

Although- he just apologized- to his team (wtf?), probably a legal CYA but still, there should be no apologies to America haters.
