Unfortunately for Kermit, the object of Miss Piggy’s affections was fellow ABC actor Nathan Fillion who he spotted sneaking out of the glamourous blonde’s trailer in a behind-the-scenes clip from his new show.
In an extended promo for The Muppets, the fuzzy little guy is seen looking through a script with a cast member when they are interrupted by the sound of a door shutting.
The handsome Castle actor is seen with his shirt hastily buttoned and his hair slightly ruffled as he tries to slink out of the trailer unnoticed.
After appearing a little sheepish, Nathan, 44, fixes his gaze ahead and walks by the duo briskly with a brief ‘Morning!’.
After the awkward exchange Kermit looks off into the distance in disbelief and lets out a loud sigh.
It is a good example of how r/K alters the perceptions of what is normal. If current conditions of ease went on long enough, Kermit would go all Bruce Jenner transvestite, become a porn producer, and beat Miss Piggy until she did a hard-core porno with the Cookie Monster – and that would be normal.
It sounds crazy now, but if you went back to the fifties, and said a children’s puppet show would feature the “wife” of the main character banging a string of A-list Hollywood stars as her loyal beta husband looked on depressed and sighed, people would have beaten you and left you in the street for dead. The very idea of exposing children to that would have been scandalous, and cost somebody their job.
Now it is normalized, and on prime time. That is a scale, and it has no endpoint. It will go for as long as the free resources and ease continue and it will reverse with the apocalypse.
(Note that it is not that there weren’t deviants back in the past. It is that the K-strategists had experienced a more violent competitive world, and being more comfortable with violence, they thought less of enforcing their morality more aggressively. Apocalypse cometh™
If apocalypse is put off long enough, look for endearing & funny characters who happen to be pedophiles show up in TV sitcoms. This mass mind control worked wonders for norming homosexuality, causing most people to overestimate its frequency about 20-fold by my informal studies.
White, middle class Americans, the heart and soul of Leftist tolerance, have next to no realization that social violence is actually quite common among many societies, including subsets that surround them. Social violence is apt to make a roaring comeback when the last echoes of this debt-fueled illusion are silenced. For those whose narcissism led the to target children, I hope the violence is quick in arrival and total in its distribution. Pedophiles should die, period. The end of tolerance is coming.
