Millennials High In LGBTQ

Probably bullshit, but I suspect the trend is there:

Twenty percent of 18- to 34-year-olds self-identify as lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender or queer, according to a new survey conducted by Harris Poll on behalf of GLAAD.

The survey, conducted online, was conducted in early November and included 2,037 American adults. GLAAD released the findings in its “Accelerating Acceptance 2017” report.

The percentage of millennials identifying as LGBTQ far exceeds the percentages in other age groups — 12 percent of 35- to 51-year-olds, 7 percent of 52- to 71-year-olds and 5 percent of those 72 and older.

I will bet if you could extend the r-selection several decades, you would see similar increases in pedophiles, incest, and child abuse. What this poll will not register is a segment of this same cohort that is exposed to harshness, and going K. That cohort will be what survives the Apocalypse. Our population is bifurcating, as the r-strategists continue to seek out, demand, and enjoy free resources and ease, and go ever more bizarrely r, while the K’s meet the harshness head on and go ever more K.

For the new comers, as you head r males will seek out female mates with more masculine features. The best female in r-selection is manly. She is muscular, aggressive, and scary, so she can provision, protect, and raise the children she single-parents alone. If so extreme it overshoots the mark, r-selection will create some males that seek out full on males as mates.

Female r-strategists in nature prefer cowardly mates with feminine features. Males who best avoid conflict and even appear feminine will be able to skirt the unnecessary risks of fighting for resources that are ever present everywhere. By surviving, they will mate more and produce more offspring, which in r-selection, where quantity trumps quality, is vitally important. Carried to an extreme overshoot, some females will prefer outright females as mates.

This is the reversal in sex-specific preferences and sexual dimorphism that you see in r-selection. The preferences change, and so should the sexual appearance. You see it in animals, and here you see it in humans. It is a direct outgrowth of r-selected conditions of free resource availability. These are humans adapting to those unusual circumstances.

Never in recent times have I seen humans swing as unnaturally r as we have today. Awash in dopamine, from food, comfort, entertainment, technology, and ease, the genetically r-prone in our societies seem to be overshooting the r-mark by a large measure. Notice how it is progressing with each generation, just as you would expect if r is epigenetically enhanced from generation to generation.

Fighting this type of biological shift is nigh impossible, and not necessary. When a society goes this r, societal collapse is inevitable, and that collapse will reverse the biological process by changing the environment. Once the environment changes, the genes turned on will change, that will change the epigenetics, and that will swing the population back to K.

The fun part of it all is that a lot of the human rabbits will die horribly, because they just are not adapted to those types of conditions. When the apocalypse hits, the schadenfreude will be enormous.
