Mark Potok of the Southern Poverty Law Center, which monitors extremism, said there were about 150 such groups in 2008 and about 1,000 now. Potok and other analysts, including law enforcement officials who track the groups, said their supporters number in the hundreds of thousands, counting people who signal their support in more passive ways, such as following the groups on social media. The Facebook page of the Oath Keepers, a group of former members of police forces and the military, for example, has more than 525,000 “likes.”
Amygdala rising.
The best advice r/K could offer these guys is to hang back whenever possible, and don’t initiate any action. Their’s is an amygdala-driven movement, and as such, they will tend to be trying to act K, in an r-environment. When you do that, you end up like LaVoy Fincum or Ammon Bundy, both of whom’s problems might not have arisen had they waited even just a year until Donald took office.
When r-strategists are in office, their entire goal will be to initiate conflict between LE and the Militia movement, while avoiding consequences themselves. It is a prime directive. LaVoy Finicum was a prime example. He and Law Enforcement ended up in conflict, and he ended up killed, all while the leftist rabbits in government and BLM never endured an iota of consequence. Had he and his compatriots never taken the wildlife refuge, none of them would have endured any consequence, and the collapse would have approached all the same, just as it is now.
The militia’s goal should be to avoid falling into that trap, so they will be in one piece when the collapse goes down and things turn K – and the militias will be needed to fend off criminals and desperate invaders intent on taking whatever they have saved up for their families.
As it looks, nobody will have to fight the government. It will likely self-destruct all on its own. Whatever is left of it will have to rush to the cities to try and save the rabbit herds from the savages there. By that time, the rabbits should be so fully on the run that freedom will return all on its own.
Sit by the river long enough, and the bodies of your enemies will float by.

Following a group means you support it? Funny, I try to keep track of what my enemies are doing, not just my friends. Well, I suppose it inflates their numbers and makes them sound more important. Mind you, even GamerGate is considered one of the hate groups, because it’s always okay to dismiss gamers.
Agree that public resistance is futile. But reading this a line from a song just kept running around and around in my noggin. Elmer Fudd in _What’s Opera Doc_…. everybody knows the line, right? So no point attracting the Eye of Sauron.
There is a LOT of fail in a country like ours, waiting for it to implode probably pushes the problem off onto our children and grandchildren. We should be able to put our heads together and give things a quiet nudge, instead of later we should be trying for Kaboom now. Wouldn’t take much of a disruption in the hives to have things spiral down into really end times scenes considering the miracle of “just in time inventory management.”
Or who knows, Trump getting elected might cause our enemies to blow things up in a fit of rage and save us the bother.
