When I was just 20 or so, an older friend’s wife had a baby. He asked if I wanted to hold her, and I was quite adamant I did not. My main source of discomfort was she looked very fragile, and I felt since I couldn’t hold her too securely without maybe hurting her, she might squirm and I’d drop her, hurting her anyway.
The last thing in the world I could have done was something that would purposely have hurt her, and I’ll bet every reader here is the same way. Somewhere deep in the mind is an innate recognition that a baby like that is precious beyond any measure.
Rabbits see things differently. To r-strategists, babies have little value since you can always pump more out. To the rabbit, babies are like big tumors. You can cut them up and sell the parts. You can even, according to some rabbits, morally have them aborted post-birth by some time measure, since they are not fully conscious until they are two years old or so. Rabbits literally take time from their lives to write scientific papers advocating for that.
You will never convince me intelligent leftists see things like this migrant and fail to see the dangers they are importing. Leftists want that r-selection pressure applied on the populace. They want a random, violent, lethal mortality which affects everyone. They want violent migrants. They want criminals freed. They want us to lose a war, and be occupied. They want that r-selection pressure, and they want to outlaw anything which would aid the more intelligent, the more K-selected, and the more fit to evade the selection. No weapons, no wealth disparity, and no tests to offer any advantage to the smart should ever be allowed. You can’t even refuse to rent to a felon.
The leftist wants a nation of rabbits, culled by a few predators, because that will favor the r-strategists among us. We will become a nation of rabbits.
This is war, and they are trying to genocide our kind. They are just trying to do it in a roundabout way, so we won’t see it and get angry enough to deal with them once and for all.
I think part of that is why Trump terrifies them so. He wants to Make America Great Again, and somehow rabbits know, that means an end to r-selection. No more advancing the idiots, fortifying the weak, and trying to keep the capable suppressed and unsuccessful.
