Migrants Are r-strategists, And Opportunists

A case in Austria:

A migrant couple who have nine children and receive nearly £5,000 a month in benefits want state-funded IVF treatment in Austria.

Two of their children have disabilities so severe that doctors believe they would die without medical treatment.

But the couple remain determined to have a tenth child and have turned to Austria’s IVF fund to cover the cost.

According to local media, the woman had been advised that because of her age, there was a limited chance of success – but the pair insisted on going ahead with the attempt.

At $7,000 per month, that works out to $84,000 per year. Five years ago they lived in Afghanistan, on probably a couple of hundred dollars per year. Now they want free IVF from the state.

Show hospitality to two heavily inbred, mentally retarded leeches, and get ten more free – if you’ll pay for their IVF. To me, the most striking element is the entitlement. If somebody offered to help me, I’d go out of my way to limit the extent of the imposition I placed upon them. That is because innate to my perception is a sense that any resource is by nature, limited and valuable. That realization produces appreciation.

Rabbits are different. A rabbit sees no reason to limit their demands, because by their nature they will assume that those resources are everywhere, and thus have no value. They assume those resources are freely available, and there is no reason to not consume them freely. In truth, they are designed to consume them compulsively. Rabbitry is, at its core, addiction to dopamine.

As with everything r, it only fosters the return of K:

Austria’s government was licking its wounds Monday after a historic debacle that saw the opposition anti-immigrant far-right triumph in a presidential ballot two years before the next scheduled general election.

According to preliminary results, Norbert Hofer of the Freedom Party (FPOe) came a clear first with 36 percent of the vote, while candidates from the two governing parties failed to even make it into a runoff on May 22.

The result means that for the first time since 1945, Austria will not have a president backed by either Chancellor Werner Faymann’s Social Democrats (SPOe) or their centre-right coalition partners the People’s Party (OeVP).

“This is the beginning of a new political era,” FPOe leader Heinz-Christian Strache said after what constituted the best-ever result at federal level for the former party of the late Joerg Haider, calling it a “historic result”.

The interesting part of the K-shift is that it is not homogenous. The entire population will shift toward K overall, but as the shift begins, the rabbits becomes even more neurotically committed to rabbitism, even as the average of the population shifts K, and the K-strategists become highly-K.

It is easy to see how this can produce conditions favorable to war.
