Just days after ripping Colin Kaepernick for kneeling during the national anthem, Ruth Bader Ginsburg admitted that really didn’t have any idea what Kaepernick’s protest was about when she answered a question about the 49ers quarterback during an interview this week.
The Supreme Court Justice released a statement on Friday saying that her comments were “inappropriate,” and that she was “barely aware” of the circumstances surrounding Kaepernick’s protest.
This cowardly no-nothing, whose every intellectual opinion is subject to complete reversal at the faintest whisp of resistance, is in a position to affect the very life or death of the Constitution. It is unbelievable.
Did you ever occasionally get the feeling that some people in public life speak their minds honestly, and then are told by forces behind the scenes that they need to fix the mistake they just made? It reeks of Roberts ruling against Obamacare, and then going back and changing his vote.
Of course Scalia never did that.

She’s an (((elderly woman))) who was an affirmative action hire from the start and should have retired decades ago.
Colin can kneel all he wants in his free time at a baseball game.
Colin is on the payroll during games. Your employer can limit your speech when you’re at work cuz—surprise your employer is the not government. Which is why the NFL is a dolts as they could’ve prevented this entire embarrassment from happening in the first place.
Nevertheless, glad the NFL is giving Colin a free platform to air his smug laundry.
Hope Colin inspires Americans around the country to stop feeding the beast and stop giving your eyeballs and cash to the government-subsidized, spoiled, cry baby club that is the NFL.
well said.

Yeah, either she was informed that her response wasn’t politically correct and that she really needed to correct it; for the cause, you know. (Although I still can’t see her making this comment lucidly in the first place, given her penchant for extreme and open lefty politics.)
Or more likely she had reacted initially based solely on the guy’s name and figured, “well that’s gotta be a white guy, so what he’s doing is bad.” And then when she found out he was black she reflexively “fixed her mistake.”
