The Left Begins To Splinter

K-selection moving in:

Ms. Willis, the South Carolina wedding minister, had been looking forward to the salve of rallying with people who share her values, a rarity in her home state, where she said she had been insulted and shouted at for marrying gay couples.

But then she read a post by ShiShi Rose, a 27-year-old blogger from Brooklyn.

“Now is the time for you to be listening more, talking less,” Ms. Rose wrote. “You should be reading our books and understanding the roots of racism and white supremacy. Listening to our speeches. You should be drowning yourselves in our poetry.”

Willis felt offended at the assumption that she wasn’t already aware of her advantages but told the NY Times, “The last thing that is going to make me endeared to you, to know you and love you more, is if you are sitting there wagging your finger at me.”

Amygdalae light up, people get irritated, and they begin to take it out on the people around them. It is starting on the left, but it will work its way throughout the world. In the interim, expect the left to grow increasingly disorganized while some leftists, like the woman above, find themselves strangely open to ideas that repulse the uber-leftist SJWs who expect them to bow down.

Now all we need is the Apocalypse.

Spread r/K Theory, because it will compliment the splintering left nicely

Something not in the story (but reflected in the “our poetry” words) is the exclusiveness of “white allies.” If you are an ally, you are by definition not part of the group. You are being allowed to hang out with the real group.

They are reflexively outgrouping white people, and white rabbits are noticing.

Watching Trump’s presser today, the thing that stood out to me was the use of in-group and out-grouping. Trump throughout the campaign has been ‘the press is horrible’ with few exceptions.

Today, he led with congratulating the media – most of it – for doing a good job, doing good journalism, congratulating them on good reporting. Except for CNN and BuzzFeed.

And didn’t they jump like they were on strings? None of them wanted to be CNN.
