Yes, AfD continues to rise, but there are still more indicators:
Over the last 35 years Europe’s biggest economy had recorded a steady fall in birth rate, which reached a low of 1.49 child for each woman born in the year 1968, said the Federal Institute for Population Research.
But women born in the subsequent years are having more children, bringing the birth rate to 1.56 for mothers born in 1973.
“The decline in birth rate has stopped,” said Martin Bujard, a researcher at the institute. “On the basis of these numbers, one can even speak of a turning point,” he said…
You can’t expect the r/K-ignorant to understand why, but just documenting the data is a step in the right direction. When things are conservative, and right-wing, as in the post-war period during the fifties, you get a baby-boom. There is a reason for that.
When the process of conception and birth in under physical and logical control of individuals, such as it is when you have easy access to birth control and abortion, you cannot import r-strategists to improve your birth rate, nor should you want to. r-strategists, lacking a desire to rear children, will simply choose to avoid conception, and abort any fertilized eggs and fetuses who escape that.
A far better plan would be to K-ify the population, so as to trigger the suite of K-urges within their brains. Once you do that, the increased rearing urge will lead them to want to have children in the same way a child wants a puppy. It is counterintuitive, but by exposing people to harsh, coming of age ceremonies, such as by making military service mandatory after schooling, you could vastly increase your birthrate very quickly.
Of course the unspoken assumption I see behind this is that the Apocalypse continues to approach. Be it the Misery Index, the Birth Rates, the crime rate, the Conservative Policy Mood, or just the incredible love for Donald Trump, we are heading into K-selection, and judging by the mood of the people, it will get worse before it gets better.
[…] K-Strategy Advances In Germany […]
This is related to Germany’s reaction to K births. There is a movement to identify and out-group parents and children determined to be ‘right wing’, even though those children are acknowledged to be well behaved, happy, engaged, self confident, etc., and their parents are often involved in the community and perceived as being good people. They don’t even try to hide that ethnic Germans are being targeted. Perhaps because too many ethnic Germans are raising the birth rate?

I just did a blog on that article. In short, that last article is a measure of the panic the rabbits are feeling as they look out on this. This is the K-shift, and nobody can stop it.
Can you explain the paradox of reproduction increasing during historical K periods and decreasing r?
The old model, which evolved in our past, was where the unconscious urges to have sex, and grow easily tired of rearing what is produced, produced a lot of offspring, reared cheaply. When you have a species that knows how babies are made, and can use birth control and abortion to limit births, what begins to determine how many offspring are produced is how much you want to rear, which will favor K.
r and K are not necessarily perfectly adapted today, but they did evolve in our animal past, and that is how to understand them.
Would the likely cause being each successive generation being born from the most fertile/adapted to reproduce in the environment? Ergo TFR should correct itself after a few generations as the more fertile reproduce?
2 2 2 1 1 1 0 0 0 = 1 TFR
22 22 22 1 1 1 = 1 TFR
2222 2222 2222 1 1 1 = 1.667 TFR
22222222 22222222 22222222 1 1 1 = 1.8 TFR
